John 11:25, Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.”These were part of the conversation that took place between Jesus and Martha. Martha and Mary had one brother named Lazarus. Lazarus was very sick and finally he died while Jesus was away from this family. Bible tells us that Jesus was a close friend of this family. Jesus developed a special bond with this family and was a frequent visitor in their home. But now their only brother was dead and probably he was the only hope of the family. Mary and Martha were devastated. Their pain and heartbreak could easily be seen through this passage. They both said, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died." Their hearts were filled with regret that Jesus was not there at the darkest hours of their lives.They knew the power of God. They have seen Jesus performing mighty miracles in the lives of people. But they thought that in the case of Lazarus, it was too late because he was already dead and buried four days back. But Jesus walked towards the tomb and said, “Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days"( John 11:39 ). But Jesus reminded her that if she believe all things are possible. Then Jesus cried with a loud voice (John 11:43), “Lazarus, come forth!" We read in John 11:44, “And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Loose him, and let him go."Jesus did not disappoint the sisters who really loved and trusted Him. In that entirely impossible situation, Jesus performed a mighty miracle and brought the dead Lazarus out of that grave, giving him a new life. Today also if we believe, all things are possible through Jesus. No matter how impossible the situation may look like, the same God who wiped away the tears of Mary and Martha could do the same thing for us. He can bring any dead situation alive in our lives.Today when people are in much fear because of uncertainty in the market, first the trouble in housing market, then the cost of fuel going up and food crisis in the whole world and on and on. Many have lost their jobs and many their homes and according to experts many more would lose their homes in foreclosure. Everywhere people are in panic and they do not know what to do? Mary and Martha were in the same situation. They were afraid and did not know what to do. Loss of a loved one and loss of belongings are painful. Mary and Martha were troubled because of such a painful situation in their lives. But when Jesus walked among them and performed the mighty miracle, their dead hopes became alive. Their tears turned into joy and their heart leaped for joy. Probably you may be in the same or more troubling situation than of Mary and Martha, but look to Jesus who can help you. He can turn your dead hopes to life. He can turn around your situation and make you happy. Jesus said in John 14:1, "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.” Yes, Jesus is more than willing to give you, your joy back. He is willing to resurrect any dead situation in your life. Just tell Him what is bothering you and He will come for your rescue.More than that, Jesus is willing to bring us out of spiritual death and give us life that will never fade away. He promised to give eternal life to those who repent of their sins and turn to Him.
Once I heard the true story of a young man who was employed as a soldier in the army of one king. He fell in love with a beautiful young lady of his town. Both were engaged. Time passed by. The young man did a crime and the king got very angry. He ordered for the execution of the soldier on a particular day at 6 PM. In those days they used to ring the church bell every hour of the day to announce the time. All preparations were made to execute the soldier at that particular time when the Church bell will be heard.The day came for his execution and everybody waited for the church bell to ring at 6 PM, but it was past five minutes, still there was no bell sound, ten minutes passed, fifteen minutes and half an hour passed but there was no bell sound. All were puzzled, as no one could understand what happened to the bell ringer. While they were wondering and thinking what the problem could be, suddenly they saw a young lady rushing toward the place of execution. She was in a blood bath and her hands were broken. She came straight to the king and fell before him pleading for pardon and to spare her fiancé. Everyone standing there then realized why the Church bell did not ring. This young lady had climbed up to the top of the tower where the huge bell was hung and had clung to the bell hammer. When the bell ringer pulled the rope attached to the bell hammer, at every stroke, her hands came between the bell hammer and the iron rim of the bell and that was the reason why no one could hear the bell sound at 6 PM. The bell ringer was an old deaf man and so he also did not realize that the bell did not ring.The king was greatly surprised seeing her love toward her fiancé. He ordered for the release of the soldier from the punishment of execution. She loved her fiancé so much that she did not even bother about her life. In the same way Jesus loved us so much that He sacrificed His life for our redemption. His body was crushed for our redemption. He came down in this world and died on our behalf. He shed His precious blood on the cruel cross so that we could be released from the punishment for our sins. His hands were broken for us, His body was broken for us, His blood was shed for us. There is no other reason except the love that made Him to do this for us. It was His love for us that brought Him down and made Him to give Himself as the ultimate sacrifice for us. Even today with His bruised body and with His shed blood, He is pleading to Father, “Please forgive their sins and give them eternal life.”Yes, He showed the greatest love to mankind. There is no greater love than this that when we were yet sinners, Jesus came and died for us. We are heading towards punishment and eternal damnation but to redeem us He gave Himself for us. If you have not yet accepted Jesus in your life as your Lord and Savior, this is the time to invite Him in your life. Even today with His broken arms and with His shed blood, He is pleading to Father, “Please forgive their sins and give them eternal life.” Will you hear His voice and come to Him today? Will you accept the greatest love in your life?

I want to show my gratitude towards all of you who are praying for my mother. She is 55yrs. Old and got a cancer of plasma cells. As I have mentioned earlier that 30th Of this month, she is going to take her reports that have been given for further check up. Today we came to know that result is negative, that means medicines that she had been taken all these days have worked on her and she is showing the signs of improvement. Praise the Lord. Oh My dear Lord.. I show you my gratitude from my heart that you have heard our prayers and gave us a hope that she can have a complete cure of Multiple myeloma. I do believe in you, my Lord. You are the ultimate physician in this world above all the doctors. You are the one who is deciding. So please cure her completely so that we can get our life back, because she is everything to our family. Without her there is no existence for us. 30th of this month she is going to see the doctor and as he had told earlier if the reports are negative then only he can take decision to go for further treatments of Bone marrow etc. Dear all, please continue to pray for her so that when she sees the doctor on 30th, she can have a miracle cure of her cancer. I know that without all your prayers it cannot be possible. Thank you very much for each and every one who is praying for my mother....Praise the Lord....He is great.... Please.. Pray Amen
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 16th Nov. 2015
