Bible says in Deu 30:15-16 "See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess." 1Pe 3:10 "For he who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it."In today's world we generally see that knowledge of good and evil is declining. There are people who think that they are doing good, but actually they do evil things. One examples is terrorism. They kill people and yet they think that they are doing good. I don't know how many of you have heard about the world's most expensive coffee "Civet Coffee". Here is the description taken from wikipedia website:"Kopi Luwak (pronounced [ˈkopi 'luak]) or Civet coffee is coffee made from coffee berries which have been eaten by and passed through the digestive tract of the Asian Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) and other related civets. The civets eat the berries, but the beans inside pass through their system undigested. This process takes place on the islands of Sumatra, Java, Bali and Sulawesi in the Indonesian Archipelago, in the Philippines (where the product is called Motit Coffee in the Cordillera, or Kape Alamid in Tagalog areas) and in East Timor (locally called kafé-laku). Local lore in Vietnam has given the name "weasel coffee" to civet coffee, in what is considered the closest recognizable translation to English." And, "Kopi Luwak was the most expensive coffee in the world, selling for between $100 and $600 USD per pound."You can see how man's standards have become lowered, yet they think it good. When I was doing my masters degree, I studied about some farm raised fishes that they are raised in sewage water. Scientists found that those raised in sewage water were more healthy and more tasty....Oh, you may think it is just about food items but no, there are laws which are disgusting and at times make us uncomfortable. There are people who do not know what is righteousness and what is not.Apostle Paul writes to Timothy in 2Ti 4:3-5, "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry."Bible talks about the time of Noah when people became corrupt and unrighteous. According to 2Peter 2:15, Noah was a preacher of righteousness. But his preaching did not have any effect on the ungodly people and flood came and destroyed them but Noah and his family were saved. God wants us to be righteous and holy. If we walk away from His holy ways, destruction is ahead of us. But if we turn from our sinful ways and walk in His ways, He will bless us.on 12th Jan. 2010 we are going to fast and Pray for financial breakthrough in your lives. If you are about to lose your home in foreclosure, if you are unable to make monthly payments or if you are looking for job, if you have financial crisis, please send your prayer request before 12th Jan. and expect a miracle that Lord Jesus would turn your situations around
A small spark
A few days back I was watching Bro. Reinhard Bonnke , a renowned preacher who preached to millions in Africa. He told how his family came to Christ. His grandfather was very sick with arthritis. He would scream because of pain, he was unable to move and it was painful for him even if someone touched him. Years after years, he laid in a bed and screamed all day long and all nights. The whole village heard his screams. There was no hope for him and they did not know Lord Jesus. One day an evangelist lost his way in the mountains and came to the village where Bro. Reinhard Bonnke's grandfather was lying. Instead of getting frustrated on being lost, he asked the villagers, 'is there any sick person here?' The people told him, 'listen carefully and you will hear screams coming from that home.' So the evangelist went there and preached about Jesus to his grand father and prayed for him. Then he commanded him to walk in the name of Jesus. When he did, the grand father jumped out of his bed and started to walk, leap, jump and run. The whole family accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Reinhard Bonnke was born eighteen years after this incident. A small spark that ignited in his family is still burning and became a flame of revival in Africa and other parts of the world.There is a name above all names, there is a name which is mighty, powerful and amazing which can transform your life. That name is the name of Jesus. All things are possible with His name.I was born in a Christian home but I never knew how mighty and powerful the name of Jesus is. One day my dad was very sick. We were studying and my mom was just a housewife. We didn't know what to do. But we heard about the mighty power of Jesus through Bro. D. G. S. Dhinakaran's radio program. That day my mom wrote a letter asking for prayer. Soon my dad started getting healed and in a few weeks he was completely healed.. When it happened, it shook me and I thought, what power is it? Jesus whose name alone was known to us in our home and we never experienced His mighty power in our lives, now we saw His amazing and mighty power in action with our own eyes. And it made us to discover this awesome power by coming closer to Him. It changed our thinking and perspective completely. Very soon we all came to Jesus and surrendered our lives to Him.Yes, His power is real. He is mighty to save you from any situation and more than that He is ready to forgive your sins and give you eternal life. If you come to Him, He is ready to turn around your life.

Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 10th Aug. 2010
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 10th Aug. 2010
