As we are wrapping up year 2011 and moving forward to a brand new year the word of God reminds me that the God of the Bible is He who makes everything New. In Rev. 21:5 we read, "Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."Yes, there is God almighty who makes everything new. The moment when a person accepts Jesus as his/her Lord and Savior that person receives a new life, as we read in 2Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." No matter what that person had done in his/her life, every sin, every guilt will be gone and he/she will become a new creation when Jesus comes in the life of that person. What a privilege it is to have your old life rolled away from you and you have a brand new life. No one likes old things but we all like new thing in our lives. More than that if the guilt of sin, the stains of sin have made your life miserable, God can roll away those things from your life and He will remember it no more. Psalmist says in Psa 103:12, "As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us." And in Micah 7:18-19 we read that, "Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever because He delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea." So if you want a new life in this coming New Year 2012, just come to Jesus, ask for forgiveness of your sins and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. When you do this, you will never be the same again. Your life will be changed forever by the mighty power of Jesus. God wants to give you a new life - a life that will last forever and that you may never perish. For this very reason Jesus came in this world so that every person should have a new life. The second thing God wants to do is to deliver us from our hardships, bondages and tears. When the Israelites were in Egypt, they had to live under very harsh conditions and their hearts were torn apart. When they cried out to God, God came to their rescue and sent Moses to deliver them. God brought them out of their misery and pain and rolled away their reproach from their lives. This happened in their lives in the very first month of a new year. God gave them a new beginning. I firmly believe that this year God is going to give many of us a new beginning. He is going to deliver us from those things which are bothering us and He will bring a great deliverance in this New Year.
In the Bible we read about Noah who was righteous in the sight of God. God told him that because of the violence and sin of the people he was about to destroy the whole world. And when God sent flood in the whole world only Noah and his family survived. Noah made a big ark as per the instructions of God. Now they were in a big ark for one year and the whole world was flooded with water. Finally the water was dried up and the ground was dry. It happened in the six hundred and first year in the first month, the first day of the month. Then Noah and his family came out of the ark about a month later in that same year. Noah and his family were sitting in the ark for more than one year. I am not sure how they passed their time sitting there? They had no computers, iPhones or things which could help them to pass their time. Not only that but they saw heavy outpouring and saw villages after villages submerged in water. People around their ark might be screaming for help and they might have seen their neighbors dying without getting any help. What a sad situation it was.But a day came when God made the land to become dry. My friend, today you may be in the midst of water and storm but the same God who dried up the waters of great flood can do the same for you. He will give you a New Hope for you by drying up deep waters in which you are. He is going to bring you out of your hopeless situations and give you a new beginning and new hope.Bible tells us in Gen 8:10-11, "And he waited yet another seven days, and again he sent the dove out from the ark. Then the dove came to him in the evening, and behold, a freshly plucked olive leaf was in her mouth; and Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth."Freshly plucked olive leaf was a symbol of new hope. It was a symbol of new beginning. Noah came out of the ark with his family and started new life. God allowed him to not only survive in that big flood but also helped him to start a new life. The same God who gave new hope and new beginning to Noah will do the same for you.When I was praying, God told me that this nation (USA) will see a big spiritual awakening and mighty revival will sweep this nation. People in large numbers will start seeking the face of God once again. God will give a new beginning and new hope to this land!

As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month.
