In this world, no matter which religion you belong to, no matter in what nationality you are, no matter how much wealth you have or how poor you may be but this one question bothers every person, "How can I get forgiveness of my sins and how can I go to heaven?" This question has been bothering people from centuries and because of that, people came up with their own ideas how to get rid of their sins. I believe that religions had come up to answer this question. But unfortunately none of the religions could ever give us salvation and none of the religions could ever forgive our sins.When Jesus was in this world, many tried to find an answer to this very particular question. Jesus again and again told them that He has to shed His blood and that is the only way through which mankind could get forgiveness of their sin as we read in Matthew 26:28 "For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."Peter also told them in Acts 2:38, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."Once when Paul and Silas were in prison while they were singing and praising God suddenly there was an earthquake and the prison doors were opened. So the prison keeper thinking that all the prisoners might have escaped, he tried to kill himself. But Paul called and told him that they were all there and that no one had escaped. Now the prison keeper asked Paul and Silas the same question in Acts 16:30-31, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."When a person repents from his/her sins and believes in Jesus, they get forgiveness of their sins. It is the experience of coming into a personal relationship with God Himself. When our sins are forgiven, we become children of God. This experience is called 'born again experience' as what Jesus said in John 3:3, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."Jesus promises that whomsoever who come to Him will be given the status of God's children as we read in John 1:12-13, "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."When Jesus was in this world He forgave the sins of people. When He forgave the sins of people it raised the eyebrows of the Pharisees who began to reason among themselves, saying, "Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone? (Luke 5:21)" And we see the reply of Jesus in Luke 5:22-24, But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered and said to them, "Why are you reasoning in your hearts? Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Rise up and walk'? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins"; He said to the man who was paralyzed, "I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house."Even today Jesus is ready to forgive our sins and ready to give us eternal life. We need not to do anything except to repent from our sins and come at the feet of Jesus. When you do that, He will gladly forgive and forget all your sins and will give you eternal life.

Moody picked up the technique from Finny, and he passed it along to a generation of stadium evangelists and ministry leaders who still stage sometimes enormous public events and manipulate people to come to the stage. Most of that activity is fruitless."When Jesus started His ministry, He gave alter call of repentance and of turning from their sins. Jesus Himself gave alter call very often and told people to repent from their sins as we read in Mark 1:15 saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel." and in Luke 13:3, "I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish."So when John MacArthur says, "Most of that activity is fruitless" he is trying to say that Jesus was wrong when He was giving alter calls and trying to bring people into the kingdom of God.John MacArthur further writes, "According to Jesus, it's very, very difficult to be saved. At the end of Matthew 7:14, He said of the narrow gate, "there are few who find it." I don't believe anyone ever slipped and fell into the kingdom of God. That's cheap grace, easy-believism, Christianity Lite, a shallow, emotional revivalist approach: "I belive in Jesus!" "Fine, you're part of the family, come on in!" No. The few who find the narrow gate have to search hard for it, then come through it alone. It's hard to find a church or preacher--or a Christian--who can direct you to it."It is true that Jesus said in Matthew 7:14 that, "narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it", but John MacArthur totally forgot to tell the reason why it is difficult! Because they willfully reject the Savior of the world Jesus Christ and they try to invent their own ideas to be saved like John MacArthur who invented 'self-denial'. Self-denial is not the entry way to the narrow gate but Jesus alone is the entry way to the narrow gate. Unless a person enters through Jesus, there is no chance that he/she could enter in heaven. Jesus has already revealed Himself that He is the Way, the truth, the Door to heaven. Now we need to do nothing except to come at the feet of Jesus. It is that simple. It could be called easy-believism, Christianity Lite, a shallow, emotional revivalist approach or whatever (as Mac Arthur calls) but this is the ONLY WAY that we should humble ourselves at the feet of Jesus and accept Him as our Lord and Savior. There is no other way! It takes only one second to fall at the feet of Jesus and repent from our sins.John MacArthur writes further, "It's hard because you've got all hell against you. One of Satan's pervasive lies in the world today is that it's easy to become a Christian. It's not easy at all. It's a very narrow gate that you must find and go through alone, anguished over your sinfulness and longing for forgiveness."No, it is hard because people like John MacArthur have rejected Jesus and His teachings thinking that Jesus brought easy-belivism, Christianity-Lite, emotional approach etc. But the Bible tells us in John 1:10-13, "He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing of your sins? Are you born from above and have you become a child of God? If not, you are on the broad way. You need to humble yourself at the feet of Jesus for getting forgiveness of your sins. Then only you will be able to enter into the narrow gate. So come to Jesus and fall at His feet because He alone can forgive your sins.

And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month.
