Last week we saw two things that made Solomon to fall in sin and to drift away from God. Today, I am going to add one more thing to it. After King David died, his son Solomon reigned in Israel. In the book of 1st Kings 4th chapter we read the list of Solomon's officials. The list speaks of all kinds of officials including priests, scribes, recorders, army officials, labor force officials, food officials and so on but there was not a single mention of prophets in the list of officials.Those officials worked for Solomon and his kingdom grew in leaps and bounds but without a prophet it is impossible to know the will of God. Without a prophet the heavenly council is lost or voice of God would not be heard in his kingdom. When David sinned against God, there was prophet Nathan to tell him his mistake but when Solomon was bowing down before other gods and when he was burning incense in high places and when he took as wife an Egyptian princess and when he married many wives there was no one who could tell him that he was doing wrong. If there were prophets with in the list of officials in his kingdom, if he had heard the voice of God and took the council of God, he would not have done those big mistakes which led him to his own doom. God Himself appointed prophets in the Church as we read in Eph 4:11-12, "And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,"But today in many churches we do not see prophets or apostles. In Numbers 12:6 God said, "Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream."If we really want to hear the voice of God we need prophets among us who could touch the heart of God and bring messages from the very throne of God. Prophets bring messages which may warn a person, which may encourage a person, edifies him or shows the things what is coming on his way.What a privilege to hear the voice of God and walk in His ways. Even today God is interested to guide us and bring us out of our sins. He is not interested in our doom but He is interested to save us from our sins and give us a holy life. For this very reason He came in this world and died on our behalf to take away our sins. If we just come to Him, He is ready to forgive and forget all our sins and ready to give us a holy life.Would you hear His voice and give your life to Jesus? He will transform you and give you a better future.

It means that it is the God of Bible who makes us rich and who wants to give us riches. Many a times we hear Gospel preachers saying, "Poverty is a blessing and it comes from God or that wealth and prosperity is devil's idea and that satan only brings prosperity. Or they will tell you how Jesus was poor and how He didn't have a house to live when He was in this world etc." But this theory is false. God doesn't bring poverty in our lives but it is devil who loves to see us in tears, pain and trouble. One more thing you need to note is that most of them who talk against the prosperity Gospel and tell that poverty is God given and is a blessing; you will see that they themselves live luxurious lives. You will find them having luxurious cars, costly houses, computers, and everything you can imagine of luxurious items. They will be traveling by air planes and still they would tell you how to live in poverty. This is hypocrisy. I can show you many verses from the Bible which proves beyond doubt that wealth and prosperity is God of Bible's plan for you. Deuteronomy 27:3 says, "LORD your God is giving you, 'a land flowing with milk and honey,'"When God was bringing the Israelites out from the house of bondage i.e. from Egypt, God said to them that He is taking them to the land which flows with milk and honey. Deuteronomy 6:10-11 "So it shall be, when the LORD your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build, houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant; when you have eaten and are full;Here you can see clearly that God is not interested in poverty. If He is not in favor of prosperity and blessings why would He take the Israelites to the land which flows with milk and honey? Further Deuteronomy 6:10-11 says, God is trying to give His children everything that was good. Everything looks very luxurious doesn't it? God wants to take us to large and beautiful cities, He wants to give us good house and house full of good things. He wants to give us good vineyards means good businesses, if it is not the sign of prosperity then what it is? Further the verse says that He wants to give us good food. The verse says, "When you have eaten and are full". God doesn't want to see us starving for food or begging for food. God doesn't want to see us poor begging for money before others. He wants to give us everything which is good. Deuteronomy 28:12 "The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow."Further Bible says that God doesn't like His children borrowing money or living in poverty. He wants to give us money so that we can lend to others but not borrow. You can't give unless you have more than enough. God says, you will lend but not borrow. It means that poverty is not coming from God but it is coming from some other source. It means that poverty comes from satan or devil who is our enemy. Devil is for poverty. Satan wants to see us begging for food and things. There could be two reasons for poverty. 1. Satan brings poverty in our lives2. Poverty could come through witchcraft One day God showed me a dream to tell me how poverty comes. One morning around 4 o'clock I woke up and I spent time in prayer. After an hour or so I felt sleepy and so I slept. In between 5 and 6 in the morning God showed me a dream. In this dream I saw a woman who is known to me. She came to our home and she looked very sick and thin. Then she started talking about sickness, death and poverty. In the morning when I woke up I told this dream to my family members. We didn't pay much attention to this dream. Around 9 in the morning I heard our door bell ring. I went to see who there was and to my utter surprise this same woman was standing there. I was amazed seeing her and thought why she came this early in the morning and without any notice. She came in, sat for a few minutes talked and left. God showed this dream in the morning about this woman and after 3 hours later this woman herself showed up at our house. It really put several questions in our mind. We started thinking seriously about this incident. Then my dad said, "He also saw a dream around in between 5 and 6 in the morning and in his dream he saw a "dead body or dead man". After seeing this dream he woke up and started feeling very sick. He then prayed and after a few minutes of prayer he started feeling ok. We realized then that because this woman came to our home in between these two dreams there must be some kind of connection. We realized right away that she came to bring poverty, sickness and death into our life. Previously God had revealed that she is a witch-crafter. So we knew that through her witchcraft she came to place some kind of curse on us or to leave some demons in our home. It really alarmed us. We prayed hard and cancelled all the curses which she brought on us. We rebuked the devil in Jesus name and sent it back and refused to get under this demonic influence. Thankfully no one got sick but our finances did affect. Within a week from this incidence we lost two sources of income and lost almost $600 worth of regular income. Then suddenly the regular flow of money stopped and for the next two months it was hard. We seriously prayed and rebuked those demons and finally we won victory over it. God opened new doors for us for income. The point is that poverty comes because of witchcraft and demons. Devil could bring poverty and sicknesses in our lives but we can exert the shield of protection in our lives by coming at the shelter of Jesus. When we come to Jesus He becomes our protection from the enemy satan and brings deliverance in our lives. Poverty is not a blessing. Let no one fool you saying that poverty is a sign of humbleness or blessings. When you confess poverty and claim it as a blessing you automatically go under it and then you stay there. I learned through my personal experiences to refuse poverty and to look for God's riches and prosperity. If you are in doubt please read the verses I have given and you can find more verses in the Bible which talks about prosperity. Abraham "father of faith" was very rich. Job a righteous man about whom God testified was very rich. Riches is not a sin if you make money with integrity without cheating or stealing. I would like to pray for you to break the curse of poverty:Let's pray: Lord Jesus I bring these dear ones who are reading this message. I take authority over demons of poverty in Jesus name and command them to leave these dear people's lives and home. You satan of poverty take your ugly hands off of these people and leave them in Jesus mighty name. I command those demons to leave them right now and go to hell fire in Jesus name. Lord Jesus please bring prosperity in their lives. From today onwards let them see prosperity and riches coming in their lives and poverty leaving. Thank you for listening to this prayer. Thank you for taking care of them. I pray in Jesus precious name. Amen.
