In John 11th Chapter we read the story of two sisters Martha and Mary and their brother Lazarus. They were of a family whom Jesus loved and where He often visited and spent time with them. But one day Jesus heard the news that Lazarus was very sick and that later on he had died. Two days later Jesus said to His disciples "Let us go to Judea again." But His disciples were very reluctant to go there because they saw persecution in that place and going back there was to risk their own lives. Yet Jesus took the bold step to go back to the same place where His very life was threatened. The reason is very simple because He loved them too much and was moved with compassion for them.Jesus did not leave those two crying sisters alone but He went right where they were in hurt and pain. Not only did He go there but also raised Lazarus from the dead. If we see people hurting and in pain, we may sympathize with them, we may cry with them but we cannot bring a dead person to life. But here is someone who not only sympathizes with people but also has power to bring them back. His one word and Lazarus who was stinking in the grave since four days came out alive and well. What a Savior! What a Deliverer! You could be in a situation like Martha and Mary where all your hopes have been lost, where you might have thought, "If Savior could be here, if.... if..." But let me tell you that Savior Jesus Christ is here and He is ready to help you. He did not leave Martha and Mary in their dire need and He will not leave you in your dire need. He will come rushing to you, if you just call His name.Another time Jesus was walking at the outskirts of the city of Nain and as He reached near the city gate He saw that a dead man was being carried out. This young man was the only son of his mother and she was a widow. Probably the only bread earner in the family and the last hope of mother was dead too. How the heart of the mother would have been ripped apart, how many bitter tears she would have shed! Oh, it was a terrible thing that had happened in her life. But I believe that Jesus' coming there was not a coincidence! He came searching for the woman who was in deep pain, whose heart was crying and calling for the creator to do something.And Jesus walked through that gate where this sorrowful mother was and His one touch and His one command and this young man came to life as we read in Luke 7:14 Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, "Young man, I say to you, arise."I cannot imagine the joy this mother would have felt in her heart. She would have shed buckets full of tears of joy. She would have fallen at the feet of Jesus and thanked Him for what He did for her. She might have danced all the way back home. Yes, my friend, there is a Savior who can come for your rescue, who can help you in your dire need. He will not allow you to die and be forgotten. No, never... The same God who came for the rescue of Martha, Mary and the widow of Nain will come for your rescue. Are you a child of God? Have you given your life to Jesus? You need not to be afraid of anything because Jesus promised to be with His children. If you are not a child of God, you can become one by inviting Jesus in your life and He will give you the right to become His child as He promised in John 1:12-13, "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."
In the year 2005 my dad was very sick even unto death. He was in hospital and one by one all his organs were shutting down. We were praying to God but there seemed to be no improvement in his health. Doctors tried to determine the cause of his sickness but all the tests came out negative. One night while I was praying, I saw two giant creatures that live in sea. One was an octopus and the other I did not identify at that time. Both of them were walking as if they were half dead or fully drunk or having no strength left in their bodies. I immediately realized that these two creatures have something to do with my dad’s sickness. And with my previous experience I understood that octopus represented the spirit of cancer. Once I was praying for a person who had cancer and for whom doctors gave only three to six months of life. As I was praying for a miracle for that person suddenly God opened my eyes and I saw a very furious and giant octopus. This giant octopus was tightly holding the cancer patient in its one arm. It was so huge that the cancer patient looked just a tiny figure in its hand. In my vision I saw the furious octopus was coming straight to catch me also. I was completely frightened and cried out to Jesus for help. Thank God that the giant creature stopped and did not move any further. So I knew that octopus represented cancer and I also heard someone saying that cancer is a spirit of death.But in my dad’s case I saw a completely opposite view that the octopus and the other creature were weary and tired. Yes, it is true that these demonic powers can harm and kill a person but I realized that they had no power to harm my dad. But I wondered what the other creature could be? Next morning I was watching the news and that morning they showed a giant squid exclaiming that the biggest squid has been discovered. And I said, yes, yes, this was the creature that I saw along with that octopus. And Jesus showed me that though these demonic powers have attacked your dad but they had no power left to harm him or take his life away. And finally my dad got healed and came back home, no demon could harm him. Bible tells us in Act 10:38, "how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him."My friend, are you oppressed by the devil? Are you under demonic powers, tormented by witchcraft and powers of the devil? Not anymore, look to Jesus, He is ready to deliver you, He is ready to remove all the demonic powers from your life. That's what Jesus did while He was in this world and He will do the same today, right where you are. He will wipe away your tears. Will you call upon His name? His name is above all names; His name will make demons tremble before Him. Would you call His name? His name is Jesus!I pray that today all the demonic oppression from your life be gone in Jesus name, Amen!

As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month.
