EDITORIAL
If we read in Gen. 37th Chapter, there we can see Joseph a young boy, beloved of his father, but his brothers envied him and they sold him to the Ishmaelite. Joseph reached the house of Potiphar as a slave. But God raised him and he became a successful man as the Bible says in, "Gen 39:2 The LORD was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian." But soon he was put in jail without a genuine reason and we see how he could have grieved in his soul. And the Bible says in, Gen 39:21, "But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison." God was with him and he found favor in God's sight though he was in problems, though he was in the midst of tears, and though he was in the midst of heartbreaking experiences... And because he went through all these situations, he could forgive his brothers when they came to him for food. He had power to do any harm to his brothers but he forgave them and arranged good place to live for them. Jesus did the same thing. Because He loved us, He died on the cruel cross to save us from our sins and when a person comes to Him and repent and confess their sins, then Jesus forgives and forgets their sins and the Bible says that He will remember it no more. Isa 43:25 "I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins." Yes, my friend, Jesus took all our punishment, all our sins, all our guilt and all our pains and died for us. HOLY SPIRIT Who Leads us
John 14:26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Luke 12:12 "For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say." Bible here says about a helper, the Holy Spirit. It says that when Holy Spirit will come He will teach you all thing, what you have to say, what you have to do, where you have to go... every thing. Many times we are puzzled not knowing where to go and what we have to do. Many times we think this is the best way, this is the best thing for our life but very often we choose wrong things because of the lack of divine guidance. But if you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you can hear the voice of God through Holy Spirit and He leads us in the perfect way. Many times people wanted to dupe us, many times people did behave mischievously with us but God showed us before hand what things are going to happen in our lives and warned us to be careful. Many times we were confused thinking which way we have to go but the Lord guided us through His Holy Spirit and lead us in the right direction. Yes, My friend, it is a marvelous experience that almighty God Himself guides us, leads us in the way which we have to go as the Bible says in, "John 16:13 "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come." And it says that, "He will tell you things to come." The things which are going to happen in your life ahead, He will show you before hand. If you read in the Bible from Gen. to Rev. You can see that all the men and women of God were filled with Holy Spirit and they were lead by the mighty power of God. God showed them what they have to do, where they have to go and what not to do. My dear friend, you must have this wonderful experience in your life too. Ask God and He will fill you with His mighty power.May God bless you!
Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 13th May. 2008
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 13th May. 2008
Printed Version of the Magazine
We are excited to announce that we are starting printed edition of the magazine that will be monthly. And will contain all the four or five issues of a month. Our online magazine will still be free and can be read via email or on our websiteThere was a huge demand that we send our magazine by snail mail.
