I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn you. (Jer 31:3) The Lord, God almighty says that, " I have loved you with an everlasting love..." it is not going to end within some days or some months or some years but He has loved us with an everlasting love...it is going to last forever and forever. What a great love it is. Man’s love may cease one day, it may be only till the valentine’s day, but God’s love will never cease. Some months back one Sister wrote to me a letter and said, "I am married from 25 years and still I love my husband but I am tired of this man and want to get rid of this man. I want to take divorce... please pray." And She wrote all the weaknesses of her husband and again she was saying that she still loves her husband. I thought, " What kind of love it is?" Love bears everything as the Bible says in 1 Cor 13:4-7, "Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." And also the Bible says in 1 Pet 4:8, "And above all things have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins." And in Prov 10:12, "Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins." God did the same thing for us. Because He loved us so much, He sent His only begotten son Jesus. Jesus came into this world and lived among men, went through all the temptations, problems, sorrows and even went to the cruel cross but came out from all these things victoriously. Yes, my friend, He choose the death of cruel cross, He choose to take all the punishment upon Himself , just because He loved us. Yes, this is His great love because of that He did all this to save us from our sins. And the Bible says in Zec 1:3, "'Thus says the LORD of hosts: "Return to Me and I will return to you." Yes, my friend, you may have gone a long way in sin, problems and sufferings but now God says return to me and I will return to you! Esau who rejected God

Malachi 1:2-3 Was not Esau Jacob's brother?" Says the LORD. "Yet Jacob I have loved; Mal 1:3 But Esau I have hated, And laid waste his mountains and his heritage For the jackals of the wilderness." And again Lord says in Malachi 1:4 They shall be called the Territory of Wickedness, And the people against whom the LORD will have indignation forever." Why? Why God did hate Esau? Let us see what's the reason behind it? Esau was Jacob's brother. Jacob whom God loved & gave him a new name -Israel. Esau was born & brought up in godly home. His father Isaac was a man of God, but later what happened in the life of Esau? What happened that God rejected him.1] He despised his Birthright: Gen 25:29-34 Gen 25:29 Now Jacob cooked a stew; and Esau came in from the field, and he was weary. Gen 25:30 And Esau said to Jacob, "Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am weary." Therefore his name was called Edom. Gen 25:31 But Jacob said, "Sell me your birthright as of this day." Gen 25:32 And Esau said, "Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?" Gen 25:33 Then Jacob said, "Swear to me as of this day." So he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob. Gen 25:34 And Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils; then he ate and drank, arose, and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright." Here we read that Esau sold his birth-right to Jacob (verse 33) & in (verse 34) Thus Esau despised his birth-right. Thus he lost the blessing of being a first born child & he lost the blessings of God." Bible says Esau sold the birthright to his brother Jacob & despised God's blessings. Because of it Jacob got all the blessings of God ( Gen 26:24) And the LORD appeared to him the same night and said, "I am the God of your father Abraham; do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham's sake." Today also we see the same thing. How many times we see people rejecting God's blessings. Several times I heard people saying " I don't want God. I don't care about God. Who knows is there really a heaven & hell. Who saw if there is heaven or hell. What about you? Have you ever thought whether there is a life after death. Bible clearly says that soul returns to its creator. Eccl 12:7 Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it." There is a life after death. Soul goes to one of the two places. It is either heaven or hell. The person whose sins are forgiven or whose sins are washed by the blood of Jesus Christ will inherit the kingdom of God. 2] He did the things which is not right in the sight of God: Gen 26: 34-35 When Esau was forty years old, he took as wives Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Basemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite. Gen 26:35 And they were a grief of mind to Isaac and Rebekah. & again Gen 28:8 Also Esau saw that the daughters of Canaan did not please his father Isaac. Gen 28:9 So Esau went to Ishmael and took Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael, Abraham's son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife in addition to the wives he had." Esau married the women who where not Israelites. It was God's commandment that you should not have any relationship with heathen people, lest they turn your heart away from living God. Today we see the same thing with young people. They chose the wrong persons. Once a person told, "I like bold girls." Remember bold, party going girl, or very modern girl may not make your home joyful & peaceful. Bible says a wise woman builds a house. Who is a wise woman? A God fearing woman, a spiritual woman, who wants to walk in the ways of the Lord. I know several people who where very spiritual once, but they married wrong person & because of that they have ruined their lives & ministry. And they were struggling hard to keep up with their spiritual life. If you are thinking of getting married. Always look toward God & ask is it right for me. Is this your will ? And you will find the right person. 3] He ignored his future: Gen 25:32 And Esau said, "Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?" Here we see Esau was only thinking about his present life. He was not aware about his future life. He said "I am so tired & weary. I am about to die, so what is the use of birth-right." Today also there are people who are thinking in the same way. Let me enjoy the world. Life is to enjoy. Who knows about tomorrow ? Let me make money. Once I was trying to give a spiritual book to one person. He told me " I don't have time to read, even I don't find time to read news paper. I said ok your children will read. He said " They got to study now, when they will grown up & get good jobs then they will think about it." See how much we care for God's word. Esau did the same thing. He rejected God & was ignorant about his future. He never thought of his eternal life. And the tragic thing is that he did loose his eternal life. Heb 12:16 lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. Heb 12:17 For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears." Let us seek God when He will be found. Let us come to God & make our ways right with Him & confess our sins & reserve our place in heaven. Let us Pray: Lord Jesus I believe that you died for me. You came down to seek me & save me. Lord I never want to reject you. Please help me . I am a sinner. I've gone away from you. Wash me with your precious blood & remove my sins away. Give me a place in heaven . In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 10th Aug. 2010
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 10th Aug. 2010
