Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." God commanded Adam and said, ".......but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." Gen. 2:17 And we see in Gen.3 that Adam and eve could not restrict themselves not to eat that fruit. They disobeyed the commandment of God. They sinned before God and because of that, their relationship with God was broken and they were driven out from the presence of God. Yes, my friend we are born in sin and we don't have any relationship with God. But Jesus died in our behalf to save us from our sins as Bible says in 1 Pet 1:18-19 "knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." I get so many mails that say, " I have divorced my husband or wife and want to marry somebody........I am dating with somebody and so on......." But Bible says something different what you think. Is dating correct......Is divorcing allowed in Bible........If already divorced what Bible says about that....? Find out all these question's answer in this Issue. 1 Pet 2:1-3 Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious." And also Bible says in 1 Pet 1:14-15 as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct....." If we read the Bible from Gen. to Rev. it talks about holiness again and again. It says again and again that, "Be holy as your father in heaven is holy." The Bible says in Heb 12:14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord." Yes, If you are a child of God, If you say that you have accepted Christ in your life, if you say that you are born again Christian then you have to live a holy life as Jesus is holy. We should pursue holiness. Now the question is what is holiness? Everybody has their own idea about holiness, some people think that if they will drink little bit it will not affect their holiness........, some people think that if they do dating it is not sin........., some people think that if they divorce their partner and marry others......it is not sin. But today I want to share with you what the Bible says about holiness. Mat 5:28 "But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." And also the Bible says in 1 Cor 6:9-10 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." Yes, my friend, if you are involved in dating, get out of it, you are in sin of adultery. It is abomination before God. Repent before Jesus and He will gladly forgive you. Seek the will of God and He will certainly guide you to get a good partner. And if you are married and thinking to divorce your husband or wife read these verses from the Bible: "Mal 2:13-16 And this is the second thing you do: You cover the altar of the LORD with tears, With weeping and crying; So He does not regard the offering anymore, Nor receive it with goodwill from your hands. Yet you say, "For what reason?" Because the LORD has been witness Between you and the wife of your youth, With whom you have dealt treacherously; Yet she is your companion And your wife by covenant. But did He not make them one, Having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth. "For the LORD God of Israel says That He hates divorce, For it covers one's garment with violence," Says the LORD of hosts. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously." Yes, my friend, it is common thing in USA but how many years before God said that He hates all these things? And if you have already divorced and want to marry another person please read this verses:- 1 Cor 7:11 But even if she does depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to divorce his wife. And also Bible says in Mat 5:32 "But I say to you that whoever divorces his wife for any reason except sexual immorality causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who is divorced commits adultery." Yes, My friend, Get out of all these impurity and look toward God and run our race faithfully as Paul said, "Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Thanks for your words of encouragement. I was in the hospital. I got to meet and be treated by 4 new physicians. Some of whom were very nice. I certainly was sick. My primary care physician was sure that I had a gall stone blockage. The symptoms were certainly there but when they did a cat scan, X-rays, numerous blood tests they didn't find any. Moishe
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 16th Nov. 2015
