EDITORIAL

What is love? Bible says in Rom 5:7-8, For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Yes, my friend He died on behalf of us and bore our sin, sorrow and grief. The place were we had to be He had. Bible says in Prov 17:17, A friend loveth at all times." Yes, we did wrong, we fell in sin but look at the love of Christ He died for us to save us from our sins. Today also His love is same. He is ready to forgive and forget our sins and give us a abundant life.

In this Issue you will read how to seek God's guidance for everything even it is a matter of marriage. My dear friends look to Him even for smallest things. If you chose a person you will certainly do mistake but if God will chose for you it will be the best one.

I have added a new column in this Magazine "Praise Him……". I am publishing a testimony of a sister in this column.

God's guidance

Bible says in 2 cor.6:14 -15Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?"

Here Bible clearly says that believers should not marry unbelievers. But even after knowing Christ many people don't think on this part. But if we look to God, He will certainly lead us in the right direction. He led the Israelites through the wilderness as Bible says in Exo 13:21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night. And Bible also says in Deu 32:10-12, He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; He led him about, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye. As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: So the LORD alone did lead him."

Yes, He is same yesterday, today and forever as Bible says in Heb13:8, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever." There is no change in Him. And not only that He is mindful of us."

When we read the book of Gen 2 :20-24, "And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."

When God saw that Adam is alone in this world then He did something for him and gave him a companion. If He can do for Adam why not for those who look upon Him? Bible says in Ps 34:5, "They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed." And Bible says in Job 5: 9 Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:

In Gen 24, we read a beautiful story that how the servant of Abraham went to search for a bride for Isaac and how wonderfully God led him in right direction.

I have copied some of the portion of Bible: Gen 24:4 But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac. 7th verse says that, "The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father's house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.

Gen24:10-27 And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master were in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor.

11th verse: And he made his camels to kneel down without the city by a well of water at the time of the evening, even the time that women go out to draw water.

12th verse: And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and show kindness unto my master Abraham.

13th verse : Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water:

14th verse: And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast showed kindness unto my master.

15th verse: And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.

16th verse: And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filledher pitcher, and came up.

17th verse: And the servant ran to meet her, and said, Let me, I pray thee, drink a little water of thy pitcher.

18th verse: And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink.

19th verse: And when she had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw water for thy camels also, until they have done drinking.

20th verse: And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again unto the well to draw water, and drew for all his camels.

21 st verse: And the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not.

22nd verse: And it came to pass, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden earring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten shekels weight of gold;

23rd verse: And said, Whose daughter art thou? tell me, I pray thee: is there room in thy father's house for us to lodge in?

24th verse: And she said unto him, I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor.

25th verse: She said moreover unto him, We have both straw and provender enough, and room to lodge in.

26th verse: And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the LORD.

27th verse: And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I beingin the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren."

Abraham's servant prayed for guidance. Many people chose their partner first when every thing settles they pray that Lord I am going to marry this girl or boy is it your will? And after choosing they pray please bless our marriage life but blessing never comes because they never waited upon the Lord to lead them in His perfect will. My dear friend this is not leading. If you want to know the perfect will of God in your life you should pray first, wait upon God and He will certainly show you the right person and right thing to do. Marriage is a important point of life so it is important to chose a person very carefully and very prayerfully.

May God help you to seek God's guidance in this matter.

Hi, I just want to thank you for all these letters that have been sent to me. Sometimes I just skip right through them, but today, I guess God wanted me to read the issue. I got into a little argument with my boyfriend this morning and I'm still a bit frustrated about it. The message about the peace of God which surpasses all understanding was most Appropriate for my feelings at this time.

Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 8th July. 2008

As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 8th July. 2008

Printed Version of the Magazine

We are excited to announce that we are starting printed edition of the magazine that will be monthly. And will contain all the four or five issues of a month. Our online magazine will still be free and can be read via email or on our website
