The Bible says in Leviticus 20:22, "You shall therefore keep all My statutes and all My judgments, and perform them, that the land where I am bringing you to dwell may not vomit you out." And also the Bible says in Leviticus 18:28, "lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, as it vomited out the nations that were before you." If we read Leviticus 18th to 20th chapter, there God tells Moses that the land of Canaan is defiled because of sin and that the Israelites should not do the same thing as they did. What was their sin? They went against the laws of God. They did the things which are abomination to God. They lived as they wanted and the Bible says that these practices were common with them - homosexuality, sexually immoral, married to their own kin, more than one wife, divorce, human sacrifice etc. Today also we see the same thing happening and it is abomination before God. God has set laws and rules and we have to walk according to His rules and His laws. If we break the rules of God the Bible says in Leviticus 20:22 and Leviticus 18:28, "The land will vomit you out." The whole Caribbean Island was wiped out because of homosexuality. Flood came in North Carolina as never before in History. Why? Because the whole land is defiled. Many people think, "we are not under the law of God or Bible. It was given only to Moses and the Israelites." No, these are the rules set by God and it is for everyone, it is applicable for every state, every nation, every generation and you can not go against it. But what is the remedy to make our land holy again? The Bible says in Job 22:23, "If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; You will remove iniquity far from your tents." Yes, return to the almighty God, your creator and He will heal the land and He will heal your homes and hearts. Repent from your sins and He will wash you whiter than snow. Why is this bitterness? Why is this weeping?

Isaiah 22:4, "Therefore I said, ‘Look away from me, I will weep bitterly; Do not labor to comfort me Because of the plundering of the daughter of my people.’Why is this bitterness? Why is this weeping? Answer is simple, the tumultuous city, a joyous city is now being plundered, everywhere there are dead people, people gone to slavery. But how come a city full of joy and tumult come to such a desolation and without comfort? Because it is a day of trouble and treading down and perplexity By the Lord GOD. How come the Lord who is so loving bring such a situation? When we look at Isaiah 22:8 we find that "He(Lord) removed the protection of Judah." That gives a clear indication that unless God protects there is nothing called protection. And When He removes the protection there is no one else who can protect.Now we are going to look quickly why the divine protection is taken away?The reason we find in Isaiah 22:14, "is Iniquity: Isaiah 22:14, "Then it was revealed in my hearing by the LORD of hosts, ‘Surely for this iniquity there will be no atonement for you, Even to your death,’ says the Lord GOD of hosts." Yes my friend, Iniquity does bring disaster in our life. Every time a person thinks that he/she can live without God and raises his/her fist against God, know it for sure that there is a serious problem. From Isaiah 22:12-13 we read that God called Judah to weep, morn and repent but instead they were doing what ever they wanted to do and they said, "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!" They tried to do what ever pleased their eyes, heart and mind. They had no time to keep their life in integrity and holiness. In Isaiah 22:11 we read, "You also made a reservoir between the two walls For the water of the old pool. But you did not look to its Maker, Nor did you have respect for Him who fashioned it long ago." Judah forgot His Maker, "They had no respect for the Creator of the Whole earth. Are we not living in a society that do not have any respect for the Maker? It is better that we wake up before it is too late. For the Lord says in Isaiah 22:14, "Surely for this iniquity there will be no atonement for you, Even to your death." Hence it is better to repent and turn to God when He is found. Isaiah 55:6, "Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:" Some months back I was reading World Watch report on Global Environment and it said that Global Echo System is changing and they predicted major Earth Quakes, Flood, Drought etc to hit this planet in the future. The 1998 World watch report stated that 1998 was a "RECORD YEAR FOR WEATHER-RELATED DISASTERS" and now it looks that 1999 has crossed that mark as we have seen Earth quake in Turkey, Greece, Taiwan and now in Mexico. And we have also seen the flood caused by Hurricane floyed in North Carolina where the city was covered with 26Ft high water. All these events are not a surprise to God, for He had already declared it that massive Earth Quake, floods, Droughts, Wars etc has to come before the returning of the Lord. Jesus said that as the days of Noah were, so shall the coming of the Son of man (Jesus) be. Matthew 24:37, " But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." Matthew 24:38, "For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark," Yes when people say "let us eat and drink; for tomorrow we shall die" know it for sure that the days of Noah are here. And the Coming of the Lord is very near even at hand. Are you going to be found in the group who have no honor for God, the Creator of the whole earth? Are you going to be found in the group who mock God? To make sure that when Jesus comes back, he may find faith in you turn from all your evil ways and turn to Jesus. He will gladly accept you, wash you with His precious blood and make you whiter than snow. Jesus is calling you to come to Him. Are you willing to come to Jesus and live a holy life? Then tell Jesus that you are sorry for what you had done and that you are ready to turn from your evil ways and ready to accept him in your heart. Ask Him to cleanse you with his blood. He will gladly do that. May God bless you

Prince of Peace

Luke 8:22-24, "Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, ‘Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.’ And they launched out". 23, "But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy". 24 "And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, ‘Master, Master, we are perishing!’ Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm". You might have read this passage many times, but have you ever thought that it has a great meaning. This passage says that Jesus was in the boat and still a great storm came and they were about to drown. Disciples might have thought that they are going to perish though they were fishermen. They were knowing how to swim because it was their routine job, but still they were afraid. They might have thought every thing is going to an end, and they are going to die. Yes my friends many times we too face this type of situations. Many times we think, "now I have no hope, nothing can save me, everything is going to end." Do we not think that way? In the year 1992 we walked though the same situation. We got into terrible trouble. That was the time when because we were doing Lord's work people wanted to kill my brother. It was a long story of terrible trial and suffering for two long years. Some times I think to write a book on this topic. We shed bitter tears. 15-20 people were roaming in front of our home till morning to night. It was not possible to move out side our home. Anonymous telephone calls were coming from morning to night, just to know whether the person was at home or not. We had a very big two story house. People who were looking very poor like beggars used to come and ask, "we want to buy this type of house, can we come inside and see whole house how it looks like. Only I and mom were there to attend to such people and it was very hard to think, why these people are coming. Many times I saw death so near to us. Hundreds of times I knelt down before God and shed tears and said to the Lord "Lord are you going to kill my only brother? If you have decided to kill one of us kill me I am ready to die instead of anybody. Please spare his life and he will do more work for you than me". And one day Lord spoke during family prayer through my brother, "You know if somebody touches you touches my eye ball only and you know nobody can touch my eye ball". I was not knowing at that time that this verse is in the Bible but later when I found it, it surprised me that the Lord spoke the same thing. Zecariah 2:8, "........for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye". And according to God's promise nobody could touch us. All these days Lord lead us, Lord said, "never leave home without prayer or without knowing my will". Every time He directed when to go outside, and when not to go. What to do and what not to do. What a great God, what a Savior. One who saved us during the great storm, He is alive to save you too. Yes my friend storms may come, winds may blow but if Jesus is in your boat you are always safe. Lord will not allow you to drown, but He will come and pull you out. Are you going through greatest storm of your life today? Do you say that your marriage is in rocks. We receive many letters saying "I am at the brink of divorce, I have no hope now" "My husband is gone with another woman, my wife is having another boy friend". When I read those letters I shed tears before God. Yes God understands you, He knows your agony. He is able to deliver you. Do you say, "I am going through sickness." Is that storm killing you. Is that worry eating you today. Look to the Lord who said to the wind "Be still" and it become calm. Do you say I am going through financial burden? Look to the God who makes things out of nothing. He is able to pull you out. Do you say I have no peace, my home is a place of battle ground. Invite the prince of peace into your life and home He will come and calm down all the tempest. Invite the carpenter of Nazareth into your home and He will repair your broken home. Do you say, "I am about to drown, I am at the brink of disaster, I am going to sink now." Remember Lord Jesus is able to pull you out of anything and everything no matter what you are facing today. Remember nothing is impossible with the Lord. Let us pray: Lord Jesus I keep these dear ones at your feet. In the name of Jesus I break all the power of darkness from the lives of these people. In the name of Jesus I take victory over devil. Devil, I command you to loose them in Jesus name. They are not your property. Leave them in Jesus name. In the name of Jesus I take victory over all addiction, drugs, spirit of divorce, sickness and poverty. In Jesus name I pray Amen.

Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 9th Dec. 2008
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 11th Nov. 2008
