EDITORIAL
Revelation 21:5, "Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful." "Behold I make all things new". These are the words of Jesus. what does it mean? In 2 Corinthians 5:17 we read, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." Here we see that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. When a person accepts Christ as his/her personal Lord and savior he/she becomes a new creation in Jesus. Jesus takes our sinful nature from us and gives us a new life, a strong desire to live a holy life. That’s why Paul writes in Galatians 2:20, "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." But, how can a person get this new life? Many think that if we do righteous deeds, we can go to heaven. But what does Bible say about it? We read in Isaiah 64:6, "But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away." Yes, our good works can not give us a place in heaven. But, we read in Isaiah 1:18, "Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool." There is a God who can not only wash away our sins but also He can give us a holy life. Yes, He promised divine pardon for us, no matter how bad our sins may be, no matter how sinful our nature may be. He is ready to forgive and forget our sins as the Bible says in 1 John 1:7, "....and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin." Can you say that you have got this new life? Can you say that your sins are forgiven? Can you say that you have a place in heaven for sure? If your answer is "NO" then please pray this prayer with me:- Loving heavenly father, I come before you as a sinner. Please forgive and forget all my sins. Please wash me with your precious blood so that I may be whiter than snow. Please give me a new life in Christ Jesus. when I close my eyes on this earth please take me to heaven. Lord Jesus please give me assurance that I would be in heaven after my death. I know you are washing me, you are forgiving all my sins and giving me a new life. Thank you Jesus for doing this for me. Angels-Are they God?- II

Last week we saw that God created angels and we have also meditated on some of their services for human. Now let us see some more…...Angels worship God: Revelation 22:8 –9, "Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things. Then he said to me, "See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God." John who saw all the revelation, when he fell down at the feet of the angel to worship him, the angel said, "worship God." And also the Bible says in Psalms 148:2," Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts!" Angels bring answers to our prayers: Daniel 9:21, "yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, "O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you skill to understand." Daniel’s prayers were answered and angel Gabriel came to give the answer. We read in Luke 1:13, "But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John." Here also we see that the angel came down to give the answer of Zacharias’ prayer. Angels bring answers of our prayers. When we were waiting to come over to USA the issue of visa was delayed for almost 6 years. It was very hard time when we waited and waited. As days passed by we even thought whether we will ever get visa. Many nights I woke up frightened whether I will be able to see my parents again. But one night I saw a dream of three white robed men who came and said, "Is there anything too hard for the Lord?" And when I woke up in the morning my heart was filled with peace and I was knowing in my heart that God is going to do something. Within a few months we got our visa and came here. Yes, God sends His angels to give answers to our unanswered prayers. So cheer up, there is a God who cares for you!
Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 13th May. 2008
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 13th May. 2008
