Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Someone said that "Fear not" or "do not fear" words came in the Bible 365 times. And it is for every day so that we may enjoy the peace and joy of God every day in our lives. Yes, God wants us to live a peaceful and happy life. He wants us to have a life that is full of His blessings. That is the reason why He came down in this world to take away all our fears, sorrows and pain and give us perfect peace.Let us look from the Bible what type of fear He removes from our hearts: 1. Fear of Death: Yes, He removes the fear of Death from our hearts. I know a person who whenever a simple headache attaches her, says, "it seems I am going to die, this time I will not survive." Why? Fear of death! A simple headache can make you feel miserable. One bad report of a doctor can snatch away all your peace. And it can fill your heart with fear. One huge invoice can make you terribly sick in your mind. Why so much depression in USA? Only one reason - Fear! They take medicine to come out of the depression but it makes them more miserable instead of the problem being solved. Yes, Fear can eat away your peace, joy and happiness. But Jesus came in this world and took all our fear on the cruel cross and shed His precious blood to purchase our pardon. He has gone to prepare eternal home for those who believe on Him. Jesus said in John 14:1-3, "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." Your life on this earth is only a temporary life. Soon it will end on this earth but it is not the end of your life. Soon death will seize you but death is not the end of your life. There is life beyond death. The Bible says that if our sins are not forgiven before our physical death, then there is no chance of going to heaven but hell is awaiting, every sinner. But we can achieve pardon of our soul by the precious blood of Jesus that was shed for me and for you. That's why Jesus said in John 5:24, "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life." Jesus promised eternal life. When we invite Him in our lives, He removes the fear of death from our lives and gives us perfect peace and finally a place in heaven. If your heart is full of fear, invite Jesus in your life. If you are not sure where you are going after death then also invite Jesus in your life. When He will come in, He will remove your fear and give you perfect peace that passes all understanding. 2. Fear of evil power and witchcraft: When I was studying in High School, one of my friends used to say that their neighbor practiced witchcraft and because of that evil spirits tormented their home making their beds to shake and throwing those sleeping on bed and making life miserable for them. Sometimes she used to cry and say, "I am afraid to go back into my home and I do not know whether this evil power will kill us or any of our family members one day." Yes, because of witchcraft and evil power, fear comes in our lives. But there is a name above all names. There is a name that is the most powerful name in this whole world. His name is Jesus. Devil and evil powers tremble hearing His name. His name is so powerful that it can break the power of evil from your lives and also can give you perfect peace and protection. We read in the Bible that whenever devil possessed people saw Jesus, they fell at His feet and worshipped Him. They trembled before Him and left the possessed bodies and homes. His power is the same today as it was 2000 years ago. He can deliver you from all spells, witchcraft and all evil power. If your home is tormented by evil power or if your life is tormented by evil power then ask Jesus to come into your life and home. When He will come in, He will protect your home and your life from all destruction and give you perfect peace. Lord Jesus, I pray for every person who is reading this message who are tormented by devil and evil power. I break the power of darkness from their lives in the mighty name of Jesus. I curse every evil power which is tormenting their lives in the name of Jesus. Jesus, you came to give us complete deliverance and peace. I ask that your peace and deliverance may come upon every person and every home right now. Protect their homes and lives o, master! Thank you for hearing our prayers and thank you for delivering your people. We give you all the glory and honor. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Exodus 15:26, "If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you."Bible tells us that the God of the Bible is a healing God. He heals our sicknesses, He heals our broken hearts and homes and He heals our sinful soul. The above verse also tells us that He is the LORD who heals us. Yes, God of the Bible wants to heal us and make us whole. But I searched in Quran to see whether Allah heals or not but I could not find a single verse telling that Allah heals sicknesses or broken hearts or homes or our sick souls.Let us see from the Bible what type of healing God of the Bible gives us which is not available in Quran and which distinguishes Elohim from Allah. 1. God heals our soul from all our sins and forgives all our iniquities: Bible says in Jeremiah 17:9, "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?"Yes, our heart has the incurable disease i.e. sin. Psalmist says in Psalms 51:5, "Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me." And we need healing for this incurable disease which is not possible to be cured by any means. We need to take the forgiveness of our sins which we committed in our lives. In the Old Testament God gave laws to Moses and said in Leviticus 17:11, "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul." Also the Bible says in Hebrew 9:22, "And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission."Isaiah prophesied about the Messiah like this in Isaiah 53:10, "Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand."And we read in New Testament that Jesus came and gave Himself for us so that we may get the remission of sins and get healing of our soul. Jesus said in Matthew 26:28, "For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."Today we can get pardon of our sins, we can get salvation of our souls by the shed blood of Jesus. He is the almighty God who wants to forgive our sins and heal our soul.But we do not see these things in Quran. Quran does not say anything about the remission of our soul but it talks about punishment(Day of Judgment). If our sins are forgiven then why we should go and face the judgment seat of God? 2. God heals our sicknesses: Not only God heals our soul but He also heals our sick body. God is interested in our good health and that's why He said to the Israelites in Exodus 15:26, "If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you."In Quran also I saw verses which say that Jesus healed the sick and raised the dead and performed miracles but there is no other reference whether Mohammed ever performed any miracle. If Mohammed was a prophet then he should have shown these qualities in his life but of course we do not see any healing or miracle done through Mohammed. Even some Muslims call few quotes of the Bible and words of Jesus as exaggerating expression. I read this in a Muslim website and I quote:"Another exaggerating expression is in Mark 16:17-18 "And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." Again, I challenge any Christian to allow himself to get bit by a poisonous rattle snake or cobra and survive its venom. Does this mean no "Christian" is a real Christian? Did Jesus say that no one will ever be a believer, since they can't lift mountains with their eye sights nor survive deadly poisons?Does the Bible contain exaggerating expressions in it? and if so, then how can you take the "Trinitarian" verses so literal then? " UnquoteWhy these impressions among others about the Bible verse? Because Allah has no power to heal our sicknesses, remove the venom of snake bite, move the mountains and do mighty miracles in our lives. Regarding the above quoted Muslim challenge to any Christian to allow himself to get bit by a poisonous rattle snake or cobra and survive its venom, I want to tell that it does not mean that we may go and test God. But the above verse says that, if a person goes through such situation then he/she can survive by the mighty power of Jesus(God). Sadhu Sunder Singh who was called bleeding feet apostle of India was given poison when he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior but God miraculously healed him. And there are of course many who survived snake' bite.Yes, there is a God who wants to heal our sicknesses. If you are going through any sickness then Jesus can heal you. 3. God wants to heal our broken hearts and broken homes: There are many references in the Bible when God healed the broken hearted and fixed their problems. Hagar was a woman who was kicked out from her husband Abraham. When in bitter pain and with tears she cried out wishing not to see the death of her son then God heard her cry and showed her the source of water. Another woman is Hanna who was totally broken because she had no child. She was in total misery and pain. But when she went to the house of God and poured her heart before God, God gave her the peace that passes all understanding. And the Bible tells us in 1 Samuel 1:18, "So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad."Another woman is Ruth who lost her husband and had no hope in her life. Her future was completely destroyed. But God looked at her and gave her a nice husband and history shows that she became the ancestor of Jesus.But on the otherr side Allah gave permission to marry more than one woman. It is not the ingredient of a happy family or happy marriage but liable to bring division and enmity in the family. It is cheating the first wife and giving her rights to another woman. We are already living in an unjust world and if God also will turn against us, towards whom will we turn? So I do not think that God can give this type of permission at all. So I do not consider Allah as God and also the above qualities make him a different god. He is of course not Yahweh/Elohim, God who cares for us and who wants to wipe away all our tears.
Your letters are so beautiful.. I don't know whether God tells you what to write or not but rest assured, my freind, that your words travel to the far corners of the Earth through the wonderful communication system that god has given us called "The Internet" when I read your letter I was amazed at how dedicated someone could be to God and I felt sad for not having that level of dedication myself. As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 16th Nov. 2015
