1 John 1:7, "...and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin."Bible tells us that we are sinners and that we need forgiveness of our sins. We need cleansing of our sins. That is the reason why Jesus came down in this world in the form of a man and died on the cruel cross. He took all our sins on Himself and shed His precious blood on the cruel cross so that we may get forgiveness of our sins. God gave the laws to Moses in which there were 5 types of sacrifices. And God said in Leviticus 17:11, 'For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul."God gave instruction to Moses that he should take the lamb or bull that is without blemish. So it was necessary that pure and blameless blood has to be shed for the atonement for our souls. And Jesus who was pure, holy, blameless and innocent shed His precious blood for the atonement for our sinful souls so that we may gain purity and holiness of God through the power of the shed blood of Jesus Christ. That is why John the Apostle says in 1 John 1:7, "...and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin."No matter what your sins are, the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all our sins. His blood has power to cleanse us from all our sins and can remove all the scars of sin from our lives. Yes, He came for this very purpose. His whole being was aware of what was laid before Him and what He had to go through. He went through all the pain and sufferings but came out victorious. The same Jesus who came out of every temptations of this world, every pain, sufferings, mocking and finally the cruel death on the cross who came out victoriously can give you victory over every sin, pain suffering and terrible heart breaks. Are you going through problems, sin, drugs, addiction, and sicknesses today? You need not to suffer anymore because Jesus has already borne every thing on the cross. He has already taken all our grief, pain, sin and suffering, then why we should suffer anymore? No, we should not! Just ask Him to take care of your problems and He will do it gladly. Bible also tells us in John 8:36 "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." You may be in addiction and you might have tried your best to come out of it but failed miserably. But Jesus wants to set you free from all your addictions and wants to give you a life full of peace and joy. If you are suffering today, look to Jesus who is ready to give you a blessed life. Invite Him in your life and you will never be the same again. He came to remove every sin, every pain, and every tear from your eyes and to give you life abundantly. If you want this wonderful life, then pray this prayer with me:Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. I tried my best to come out of my addictions but could not. I repent from all my sins. Please come into my life and cleanse me and make me free. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. From now on I will walk in your holiness. From now on I will try to live a life pleasing to you. Please help me to come out of my addictions. Please wipe away all my tears and give me your peace. Thank you Jesus for listening to my prayers. I give you all the glory and honor. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
I hope that you remember me, about a year back I requested you to pray for my family. My first daughter Janice whom I left at Bangalore. God Almighty did miracle and I want to inform you about the same. I used to cry in front of our Lord and submitted my prayers. He made it possible. A marriage proposal materialized for her, engagement took place at Bangalore, she came to USA on March 15 on Fiancée Visa married on 27th May 2000. Praise the LORD. I thank you whole heatedly for your prayers.As I read your message today, our life is with full of miseries and sorrows, but our Lord Jesus is there to console us. On June 8th my husband underwent a major surgery at Bentaub hospital for ruptured colon. I cried out to God to save him. God listed to my prayers, his stomach was contaminated and it was a miracle, God gave him a new life. Praise the Lord. He had hernia that is to be fixed, on 4th August he will have to undergo for another surgery for the same. I know Jesus will take care of him.Please do pray for him and for my family. Last July on 28th I had heart problem and underwent Angioplasty & stent placement. I am on different medication for my BP, diabetic, thyroid etc. Please pray for me. Thank you for your in time spiritual message, at the time of my miseries. Exodus 20:16, "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor."This is one of the commandments out of Ten Commandments which God gave to Moses that is, 'you shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.' And we read in Proverbs 6:19, "A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren." And also in Proverbs 12:17, "He who speaks truth declares righteousness, But a false witness, deceit."From Genesis to Revelation the Bible tells us that we humans are sinners and that we need forgiveness of our sins or salvation of our souls. God gave Moses the Laws and when the Israelites used to sacrifice lamb or bull on the altar and when they repented from their sins, God forgave their sins as we read in Psalms 32:5, "I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD," And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah" and also in Psalms 78:38, "But He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, And did not destroy them. Yes, many a time He turned His anger away, And did not stir up all His wrath;"Also we read in New Testament that Jesus came to fulfill the Law. He says in Matthew 5:17, "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill."Yes, Jesus came to fulfill the Law and He did exactly that, by offering Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the whole humanity. He came to this world as the Lamb of God and shed His precious blood on the cruel cross and gave Himself for us. Whole Bible tells us that no man/woman is pure or holy except Jesus who was God Himself. Every man has sinned and there is a consequence for sin. If our sins are not forgiven before we leave this world, then we have to face hell fire. That's the only option left for those who never turn to God. But if we want to escape death our sins must be forgiven. But Quran rejects the great work of salvation on the cross and also salvation through blood sacrifice. Muslims believe that they are pure because they are born in a Muslim family. Many a times Muslims say that they do not believe in original sin but they are pure because Allah has programmed in them to be pure and do pure things. But is it reality? I asked them if it is true then why Muslims sin or why they are not living a perfect and pure life? And if Allah programmed in a person to live in purity then he/she should actually be a pure person otherwise there is some problem in Allah's programming. But God did not make us like a robot. He gave us free will so that we may choose ourselves good or evil. He gave us choice and that is the reason why Moses said in Deuteronomy 30:19 to choose life as we read here, "I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;"To choose life and blessings we need to repent from our sins and turn to God who can give us life with purity and blessings. But by saying that Jesus never died on the cross or by saying that there is no need of blood sacrifice, Mohammed rejected the great plan of Salvation of Yahweh which was possible only through the Blood of Jesus. And by saying this, he bore a false witness and broke one of the commandments of the God of the Bible. Not only that, by saying this Mohammed deceived many and by saying this he blasphemed God. So obviously Allah is not the same God of the Bible who made a WAY for the SALVATION of mankind.
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 16th Nov. 2015
