Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound." This was the mission of Jesus Christ. Jesus came down in this world to preach the good news, heal the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty and to deliver those who are in bondage. His whole mission was to rescue people from sin, bondage, sickness, death and tears. A few days back when Madhav Rao Scindia deputy leader of the Congress in India died, one person told that he knew him from 1947 and it is so tragic to see him dead. He further said, "I am feeling that life is nothing, there is no meaning of living or dying..." How short our lives are, it ends at a time when we do not expect or even imagine what types of things may take place in our lives. Yes, it is devastating to lose our loved ones and it is tragic. But Jesus came to this world to wipe away our tears and pain. He can heal our broken hearts. When I was a small child, my mother used to tell me the story of a young girl named Cinderella. She lost her mother at a very young age. Her father married another woman and things changed in her life. She was treated by her step mother with cruelty and harshness. She had to do all the household work but she was never shown any love and nobody cared for her needs. Cinderella was living virtually as a servant in that home. One day the king of the city where she lived announced his son's wedding and it was told that every young girl who has beauty and charm may go to the palace and dance so that the Prince could chose his bride. Cinderella's step sisters brought new cloths and went to the king's palace but Cinderella was very nervous and sad because she had no way to reach king's Palace. Her cloths were dirty and her look was ugly. When she was crying and thinking about her inability to go to king's palace suddenly a fairy appears to her and says, "I give you new dress, shoes and a chariot to go to king's place. But only one condition is there that you have to return home before 12 midnight as otherwise your dress and shoe will change to old. Further the chariot will disappear from the scene." Well, she was very happy for the help she got. She went to the king's palace and danced there. Every person who gathered there were amazed to see her beauty and the talent she displayed. Prince, king and every person were impressed with her performance. While dancing suddenly her eyes fell on the clock and she saw that it was about to be 12 midnight. She ran to reach the palace gate before the clock turns to 12 midnight. In the hurry she left behind one of her shoes. Next day morning kings servants enquired at the door of her home showing the shoe to her step-mother and asked, "whose shoe is this" they also informed, the Prince will marry the girl to whom the shoe belongs. Her step-sisters tried their best to wear the shoe but could not. Finally they tried the shoe on Cinderella and it fitted exactly for her as if it is her own. Cinderella got married to the Prince and her life was no longer miserable. This is a story of a girl who was in misery, pain, sorrow, tears for whom there was no one who could love or care for her but her life and future changed dramatically. How many times when I heard this story, I thought why this does not happen today? But when I came to Christ, I realized how mighty and powerful the name is of Jesus. This is the name before whom every devil, sickness and sorrow trembles. This is the name which gives victory over every sin and fear. This is the name that delivers people from their bondage and gives a life full of blessings. My friend, are you going through suffering and pain? Did you lose your loved one and are you in terrible pain? Are you thinking that your future is over? Are you thinking that, there is no hope for you? Look to Jesus, ask Him to come into your life. When Jesus will come into your life, He will change everything. He will give you peace, joy and happiness that this world can not give. He will wipe away all your tears and remove broken heartedness. Matthew 28:19-20, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. Jesus gave this great commission to His disciples. We see three things in this verse. 1. make disciples of all the nations 2. baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit 3. Teach them to observe all things that Jesus commanded them. What is the meaning of making disciples? A person who can do just as Jesus did, who can live just as Jesus lived, who can walk just as Jesus walked. That's why Jesus further said, "Teach them to observe all things that I have commanded you." Bible tells us that Jesus' main purpose of coming to this world was to save those who are lost. He came to rescue us from hell fire that was the reason why He gave Himself for us on the cruel cross. He shed His precious blood so that we may come out of our sins and live a holy life. It is true that most of the Churches give baptism in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit but how many Churches direct the people to observe the commandments of Jesus? I grew up in a Protestant Church but I never heard the message of Salvation in our Church. Many Churches even have the rule that the Church members are not supposed to read the Bible. Recently one pastor told us that Old Testament God is a different God than the New Testament one. It was not only surprising but shocking that a Pastor can give this type of statement. Why? The reason is very simple because we do not know what is in the Bible. We never bothered to read the Bible while God said in Old Testament that, "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." (Joshua 1:8) But most of the people prefer to read other books than Bible. Many even do not read the Bible carefully and when someone comes up with a new theory or a new doctrine they think that it is from Bible. Yes, you will soon become the victim of devil and his deception if you do not know what is the true message and true ministry of Jesus Christ. That is the reason why we see so many cults today. One man used to come in our forums and he always said that, he is a Christian and further said, "but you are a Trinitarian". I asked him, "how you are a Christian while you do not even believe that Jesus is God? He said, "those who believe in Yahweh is Christian and those who believe in Father, Son and Holy Spirit are Trinitarians." I said, "there is only one God whose name is Yahweh and triune is His nature or quality. There are no three Gods but the same God of Old Testament who came down in the form of a man to save us from our sins and hell fire. And there is no other Savior except Jesus." And the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 12:28, "And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues." We see all the above said ministry manifested in the life of Jesus but where are the apostles and prophets today? Did not Jesus say in John 14:12, "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father." Then why do we not see all these things today while Jesus promised greater things? Again the reason is simple, we have made up our mind by hearing our theologians and scholars instead of reading Bible ourselves. Once I was talking to a Baptist man, who said that there are no prophets today and he quoted, 1 Corinthians 13:9-10, "For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away." I asked him whether Jesus came the second time to this world as this verse says, "when perfect has come". He said, "yes, in 70A.D." I asked him, then why are you still here not being raptured? No answers!! From this we can realize how much people are deceived today because they have chosen not to read the Bible. Bible says in Hosea 4:6, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children." The greatest problem of our Churches today is that they left the most important ministry of Jesus Christ and instead have selected only the part of help and administrations. No, it is not multiple option choices but every ministry is important. Jesus did not come to do social work. A person can help you physically, financially but he/she can not remove pain from your soul. A person can provide a shelter for you but he can not give you entry into heaven. But Jesus' mission was and is something different from social workers. He wants to solve your problem from inside out. He does not want to polish from outside but wants to go deep inside and root out your problems and establish His peace and joy in your life. My dear friend, this is the mission of Jesus. He cares for you and He knows every drop of tear which you shed. He wants to wipe away your tears and heal your heart which is not possible by social work alone but only possible by the mighty power of God. If you want consolation, comfort and peace in your life, look to Jesus, He is ready to change your life. May God bless you!

As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 16th Nov. 2015
