Today is the Valentine's day. This day is celebrated as couple's day or to express love for spouses though the story behind it has nothing to do with what people celebrate today. This is a story of a Christian priest who took a stand for the living God and of a young daughter of Jailer who was healed by the mighty power of God when Valentine prayed for her. Valentine was thrown into jail and finally beheaded for his stand for God because he obeyed God rather than King who ordered death penalty for those who marry or will help others in marring a person. This is a story of early persecution of Christians and love and loyalty for God that showed by Valentine.Yesterday we also entered into lent season that tells us another great love story. This is a story of God's unconditional love for human being. God created Adam and Eve in His own image and in His own likeness but they sinned and fell short of the glory of God. Though man whom God created with His own hand did not come to the expectation of God still God loved him and did not destroy him. He could have killed them and destroyed them but no, He did not do that. Instead of killing them He came down to rescue us. He shed His precious blood on the cruel cross so that we may come out of our sins and sinful nature and live a holy life. It was the love that He could not see us heading toward hell fire. It was the love that brought Him down from heaven. It was the love that made Him to shed His precious blood on the cruel cross. It was the unconditional love that made Him to sacrifice Himself for us.He gave Himself for us so that we may never die but live eternally with Him in peace and joy. That was the love of God for us. Bible says in Jeremiah 31:3, "The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you." He loves us with an everlasting love - the love that never fades away. Not only He loved us and died for us so that we may obtain eternal life but also He wants to fill our homes and hearts with His love and peace. When Jesus comes into our lives He removes wrong things from our lives and homes. He binds our broken homes and broken lives with bonds of love so that it may not be broken anymore. Do you think your home is a broken home? Do you think your life is totally broken and there is no hope for you? Today allow carpenter of Nazareth to come in and rebuild your life and home. He will gladly come and restore your life, restore your home and give you a brand new start.

Stumbling, trying to crawl and stand,Growing up thinking, who am I?A human being? Born in this world, will become adult one dayAnd will depart from this world one day!Some excel but some not...Some are rich some are poor...What is life after all? Why I am in this world?What is the purpose of this life?flashing questions in my mind, compelled me to find an answer!I heard in my childhood Jesus died on the cross and rose again.My friends asked, how it is possible?Did God die, why?Yes, it was embarrassing to thinkthe death of God so humbling, so cursed!! Why?As a teenager I heard Jesus died for my sins...What? I thought,Why on the earth someone will ever die for me?I am nothing, absolutely nothing!Above it a shameful death which is so humbling.Why... no, no one can do this, at least not for me..no!But soon I realized, it is a reality...He took my placethe place where I had to bethe punishment which I had to go throughthe cruel death which I had to facethe sufferings of hell which I had to go throughThe loads of sin, guilt which was on my shoulderHe took on Himself and died on behalf of me.I stood in awe and asked, Why?I do not see any other reason except LOVEYes, Love made Him to come downAnd to die a shameful death, to become curse for usSo that we may be blessed..It is the LOVE, pure LOVE, nothing else but LOVEToday itself the LOVE is dripping off From the Calvary's crossEvery drop of blood shows His LOVE for us.Will you accept this LOVE in your life?
Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 13th May. 2008
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 13th May. 2008
Printed Version of the Magazine
We are excited to announce that we are starting printed edition of the magazine that will be monthly. And will contain all the four or five issues of a month. Our online magazine will still be free and can be read via email or on our websiteThere was a huge demand that we send our magazine by snail mail.
