Psalms 122:6, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May they prosper who love you."Sunday was the bloody day in Israel. Bombing, shooting, killing and violence. It is becoming more and more clear that Palestine people do not want peace or a state of Palestine but they are busy earning reward for heaven by killing Jews and Christians. According to the Quran and Hadith it is promised for Muslims who kill Jews and Christians that they will get many virgin girls in heaven and direct entry in heaven. Many a times we hear that if they gets Palestine state then they will not commit violence. But it seems only a fake promise. Pakistan has its own land but still they are killing people. Out of 19 hijackers 15 were from Saudi Arabia who used the plane as guided missile and demolished the World Trade Center. Saudi Arabia has their own land but why these young men needed to come in this land and kill 2,800 people? Reason is very simple; Allah has commanded them to fight for Allah's cause. Every person who is not Muslim is target of these terrorists. And the most amazing thing is UN and Kofi Annan keep silence when Israelites are killed. But when Israelites killed one terrorist who was involved in planning and more than 100 bombing incidents, whole world condemned Israel. One of the article titled, "An airline pilot challenges Arab Muslims in America" written by John Maniscalco which was published in http://worldnetdaily.com on July 24, 2002 said like this, "On Sept. 11, 19 ARAB MUSLIMS hijacked four jetliners in my country. They cut the throats of women in front of children and brutally stabbed to death others. They took control of those planes and crashed them into buildings killing thousands of proud fathers, loving sons, wise grandparents, elegant daughters, best friends, favorite coaches, fearless public servants and children's mothers. So I notice you now. I don't want to be worried. I don't want to be consumed by the same rage and hate and prejudice that has destroyed the soul of these terrorists. But I need your help. As a rational American, trying to protect my country and family in an irrational and unsafe world, I must know how to tell the difference between you and the Arab/Muslim terrorist.How do I differentiate between the true Arab-Muslim-Americans and the Arab Muslims in our communities who are attending our schools, enjoying our parks and living in our communities under the protection of our Constitution, while they plot the next attack that will slaughter those very same good neighbors and children? The events of Sept. 11 changed the answer. It is not my responsibility to determine which of you embraces our great country, with all of its religions, with all of its different citizens, with all of its faults. It is time for every Arab Muslim in this country to determine it for me. I want to know, I demand to know, and I have a right to know whether or not you love America. Do you pledge allegiance to its flag? Do you proudly display it in front of your house or on your car? Do you pray in your many daily prayers that Allah will bless this nation, that He will protect and prosper it?Or do you pray that Allah will destroy it in one of your "jihads"? Are you thankful for the freedom that only this nation affords? A freedom that was paid for by the blood of hundreds of thousands of patriots who gave their lives for this country? Are you willing to preserve this freedom by paying the ultimate sacrifice? Do you love America? If this is your commitment, then I need you to start letting me know about it.And further the same article says, " And if you and your fellow Muslims hate us, then why in the world are you even here? Are you here to take our money? Are you here to undermine our peace and stability? Are you here to destroy us? If so, I want you to leave. I want you to go back to your desert sandpit where women are treated like rats and dogs. I want you to take your religion, your friends, and your family back to your Islamic extremists, and STAY THERE!When this article was posted in one of the forums, this was the reply of a Muslim, "the US Arab citizens ain't gonno go anywhere and you're gonna spend the rest of yr life worrying about "terrorist" attacks, UNLESS you REALIZE the MAJOR flaw in the US Foreign Policy, viz., its blind and unconditional support for the Terrorist State Israel."This is the mentality of Muslims and ironically most of the world is supporting them and their work of terrorism. But as a Christian we are commanded by God to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Israel. Israel is the beloved and chosen country of God and it is God's own country. Let us kneel down and pray that God may send His peace in Israel and also give His wisdom to Muslims so that they may see that they are not heading toward heaven but to utter destruction. Will you pray for them?
2 Sam 7:2-3 that the king said to Nathan the prophet, "See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells inside tent curtains." Then Nathan said to the king, "Go, do all that is in your heart, for the LORD is with you.Some body said that what ever you do if your intension is right then that thing is from God. Another person said if you feel good about something then that is from God. Another person said if you go on a way and things begin to work smoothly then that plan is from God's will. Here we read that King David is expressing a desire to Nathan that he is living in cedar house but God's temple is built in tents so I want to make it extraordinary. A very good intention and a very good plan so any body hears the plan will say go ahead King David it is wonderful. So did Nathan the prophet. But when He went home God spoke to Him. 2 Sam 7:4-7 But it happened that night that the word of the LORD came to Nathan, saying, "Go and tell My servant David, 'Thus says the LORD: "Would you build a house for Me to dwell in? "For I have not dwelt in a house since the time that I brought the children of Israel up from Egypt, even to this day, but have moved about in a tent and in a tabernacle.When a prophet speaks from his own mind and then God says totally opposite I think that is most embarrassing situation for a prophet. But Nathan didn't hesitate he took a bold step and went and told all the things to David. 2 Sam 7:17 According to all these words and according to all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David. Yes there are times when God corrects a person. He reveals His plans and declares the things that He wants. But many times we fail to even ask Him what He wants from their life and we go on doing things that looks good to our eyes and good to our ears. Here God said very plainly David you are not going to build the temple but your son will build it for me.In Isaiah 38:1 we read another incident where Prophet Isaiah came to Hezekiah and said you shall die and not live. God revealed to Isaiah what is going to happen to Hezekiah. When Hezekiah heard he began to pray. He pleaded with God. Again the word of the Lord came to Isaiah that go and tell Hezekiah that he will live for 15 more years. Again a very difficult thing for Isaiah to do. First he went and said you will die and now he has to go and say you will not die but Isaiah did what God had commanded him to do.Isaiah 38:1 In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, "Thus says the LORD: 'Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.'" 38:4,5 And the word of the LORD came to Isaiah, saying, "Go and tell Hezekiah, 'Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years.What we see in these incidents is that God is communicating with people through prophets and prophets are doing exactly what God want them to do becoming a transparent channel in the hands of God. For a person who wants to bring a message from God it is very important to become transparent between God and people. When God tries to communicate many times believers become hindrance in the communication. God still communicates because He is not dead. Let us look at few communications in New Testament to make sure that we know for sure that He communicated in New Testament too. Acts 8:26-29 Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, "Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza." This is desert. So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship, was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet. Then the Spirit said to Philip, "Go near and overtake this chariot."Philip was told to go toward south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza. Also Spirit of the Lord said to him to share the Gospel to a Eunuch of Ethiopia. Eunuch was reading Isaiah and was not able to understand so Philip made him understand that what is Isaiah is about the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 8:35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, "See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?" Then Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."How many times we think that we don't need to preach the Gospel but we have to show it from our lives. Philip never had time to show it from His life it was a brief encounter. There was no time to waste. He was given just few minutes and he did his word exceptionally great. Reason is because he was attentive to the voice of the Holy Spirit. God communicated with Philip and gave him direction.Philip was asked to go on the road that goes from Jerusalem to Gaza. Gospel was preached from Jerusalem to Gaza. Need of the hour is that this Gospel should reach to Jerusalem and to Gaza and to West Bank. So that people who are in trouble can see the love of Jesus Christ.Another incident we see in Acts chapter 10. Peter was praying and He sees a vision. and then in Acts 10:19,20 Holy Spirit asks him to go with three people that are standing at the door. Again we see God is communicating that where peter should go to preach the Gospel. And we see that whole house of Cornelius is blessed by that. Acts 10:9-11 The next day, as they went on their journey and drew near the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray, about the sixth hour. Then he became very hungry and wanted to eat; but while they made ready, he fell into a trance. and saw heaven opened and an object like a great sheet bound at the four corners, descending to him and let down to the earth. 10:19,20 While Peter thought about the vision, the Spirit said to him, "Behold, three men are seeking you. "Arise therefore, go down and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them."Finally to say that God still communicates and His voice is still available if we want to hear let me share my own experience. I was in CSI Detroit conference recently. There were quiz and elocution competitions. I was willing to take part in elocution but was not in a mood to participate in quiz. But I prayed and Lord said don't take part in elocution but if somebody approaches you to be a team member in quiz then go for quiz don't go yourself. I was wondering what that means to go for quiz if somebody approaches you. I thought may be my church doesn't want me to participate so was thinking it will be great if nobody approaches me. Anyway cutting long story short I participated in quiz along with three more people from my church. I had not a single answer for general knowledge, tricky and science questions. Although I am not that blank on those areas but it looked as if my mind was totally blank. Our team was trailing badly we were the last. I was thinking Lord why would you send me here to look so bad. But all of a sudden when Bible questions came we swept the whole section without dropping a question. It looked as if I knew answer to every question. Our church won the first prize. But I was left with the question in my mind why I could not answer other questions. Then one fine morning we were in our family prayer and the Lord spoke. He said few things about what happened in Detroit conference and then He said, "Second thing that I did in that place was in blocking the strongest move ever to stop the News Letter. One of the strongest arguments was that you do not have Bible knowledge. What ever you write in CSI News Letter is not right, that was the argument and I had to prove that you have full authority over Bible and I did exactly that." When Lord said this the whole picture was clear for me that why quiz gone in that spectacular/dramatic way. My dear Brothers and Sisters. Lord is looking for people who will hear Lord Jesus' voice and will walk in His ways. Lord is looking for people who will take His communication to this generation being transparent. Will you be that person? If yes surrender your life to Him and ask Him to use you in the days to come. Tell Him that you want to hear His voice and obey Him. May God Bless you.
2 King 6:8-12, "Now the king of Syria was making war against Israel; and he consulted with his servants, saying, "My camp will be in such and such a place." And the man of God sent to the king of Israel, saying, "Beware that you do not pass this place, for the Syrians are coming down there." Then the king of Israel sent someone to the place of which the man of God had told him. Thus he warned him, and he was watchful there, not just once or twice. Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was greatly troubled by this thing; and he called his servants and said to them, "Will you not show me which of us is for the king of Israel?" And one of his servants said, "None, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom."Ostrich a big bird when he sees that enemy is coming and there is no hope for him, he buries his head in sand and thinks that everything is OK and his enemy is not seeing him. Many do mischievous things against others and think that others do not know anything. But the Bible says that whatever King of Syria spoke in his bedroom was known to Elisha - the prophet of God. Yes, you cannot play with the prophet of God or you cannot act in front of a prophet differently. Bible says in Amos 3:7, "Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets."And also the Bible says in Num 12:6, "Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream."Once a person saw a dream in which she saw that, a man and a woman were standing outside of a home holding each other and they were doing something wrong. The side wall and door of that home was whole glass. This lady who was seeing the dream came out of a room that was opened just in front of the glass door. When she saw that two very familiar faces were standing there, she tried to hide herself but there was no place to hide herself. The man saw her and it made him real mad. She woke up sweating and trembling. She wondered what was the meaning of that dream? So she asked God to tell her the meaning. God told her that, "these people were doing wrong things in dark but soon I am going to expose their works of darkness into light." Few days later those things happened exactly. If you are a prophet of God, He will show you the things to come. Even Elisha knew the things of what was going on in Syrian king's bedroom. When we were in India one of my cousin was living with us. She had the gift of prophecy. Once my sister got a very good job offer from a company but while we were in family prayer, she got prophecy that, my sister should not join that job. It not only upset my sister but all of us. Well, she dropped the idea to join as God forbade her to join. Days passed by, one day when morning newspaper came, we all were shocked. In front page there was news in big bold letters that the same company where my sister was about to join was investigated by police for fraudulent accounting and they also listed all the names of staff who were working in that office. On that day how much we thanked God for protecting us from all evil.We read about Elisha that once there was a great famine in Samaria so King got very angry and sent a man to kill him. 2 King 6:32 says that, 'But Elisha was sitting in his house, and the elders were sitting with him. And the king sent a man ahead of him, but before the messenger came to him, he said to the elders, "Do you see how this son of a murderer has sent someone to take away my head? Look, when the messenger comes, shut the door, and hold him fast at the door. Is not the sound of his master's feet behind him?"'Before the man came to kill Elisha, he knew it beforehand because of the gift of prophecy. While he was still talking to the elders the messenger came and the bible says in 2 Kings 7:1-2, "Then Elisha said, "Hear the word of the LORD. Thus says the LORD: 'Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria. So an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, "Look, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?" And he said, "In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it."And if we read further we see that it happened exactly. There were four leprous person who thought that they have to die either way as the city has famine and if they go to the camp of enemy they will kill them. But they decided to go to the camp of enemies. When they reached there they were amazed because no one was there but it seemed as if they ran away in hurry. The whole camp was empty so they ate and enjoyed. And came back and said to the King. King sent his soldiers to see whether this news is correct or not. They found it correct and soon they found that they have plenty to eat as we read in 2 Kings 7:16, "Then the people went out and plundered the tents of the Syrians. So a seah of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the LORD."And the king appointed the officer in charge of the gate. But the people trampled him in the gate, and he died, just as the man of God had said, who spoke when the king came down to him. The cost of not believing on the word of God was, officer lost his life. Yes, those who do not believe on God's word they are already condemned. But you can believe on Him and His word and get eternal life.We read about Ahijah prophet that how God showed him that a woman who came to him was Jeroboam's wife though she disguised herself and pretended as another woman. 1kings 14th chapter tell us that, "Jeroboam told his wife that, "Please arise, and disguise yourself, that they may not recognize you as the wife of Jeroboam, and go to Shiloh. Indeed, Ahijah the prophet is there, who told me that I would be king over this people. And we read in 1 Kings 14:4, "And Jeroboam's wife did so; she arose and went to Shiloh, and came to the house of Ahijah. But Ahijah could not see, for his eyes were glazed by reason of his age.But before she could reach there God told Ahijah everything beforehand as we read in 1 Ki 14:5-10, "Now the LORD had said to Ahijah, "Here is the wife of Jeroboam, coming to ask you something about her son, for he is sick. Thus and thus you shall say to her; for it will be, when she comes in, that she will pretend to be another woman." And so it was, when Ahijah heard the sound of her footsteps as she came through the door, he said, "Come in, wife of Jeroboam. Why do you pretend to be another person? For I have been sent to you with bad news. "Go, tell Jeroboam, 'Thus says the LORD God of Israel: "Because I exalted you from among the people, and made you ruler over My people Israel, and tore the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it to you; and yet you have not been as My servant David, who kept My commandments and who followed Me with all his heart, to do only what was right in My eyes; but you have done more evil than all who were before you, for you have gone and made for yourself other gods and molded images to provoke Me to anger, and have cast Me behind your back; therefore behold! I will bring disaster on the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam every male in Israel, bond and free; I will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as one takes away refuse until it is all gone."Yes, the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. You cannot bury your head in sand and think that no one is looking at you. May be you can hide yourself from others but God is watching everything which you are doing. Though the Jeroboam's wife pretended as other woman, thought Ahijah could not see, for his eyes were glazed by reason of his age still God showed him correct things.Many think that prophet days are over but Joel prophet prophesied and said in, Joel 2:28-30, "And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. "The prophet days are not over, the miracle days are not over but they are here. We are living in last days and it is the promise of God that He will pour out His Spirit on all flesh. Yes, the days of Elisha and Elijah are here. God is pouring His Spirit on every flesh. If you have not yet received, ask Him and He will fill you with His Spirit. Don't live in deception saying prophet days are over.
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 16th Nov. 2015
