Tsunami has created widespread destruction in twelve countries of Asia. Many have lost their lives, many have lost their loved ones and many children have become orphans. It is a tragedy beyond anybody's comprehension. When one Buddhist monk was asked, "At this time of great tragedy what you would advise the people." He replied that his advise to people is that, nothing is permanent in this world and so whoever is born brings his death along with him. So they have to move on with their lives. But one who had lost his loved ones may think how to move on with all the pain and sorrow in heart? How to cope with everyday life after this great tragedy? Is there any hope?Yes there is hope in Jesus Christ. In the midst of tragedy and in the midst of sorrow Jesus can give you everlasting peace that this world cannot give. Jesus said to His disciples who were in great distress and in great sorrow, "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. (John 14:1)" Jesus also said in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."Are you in fear? Have you lost your loved ones and have no peace in your heart? Come to Jesus, He can help you and give you peace. He will take you in His mighty arms and will wipe away your tears.Not only Jesus gives peace in this world but He gives hope for after death. Bible tells us in 1 Cor 15:22, "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive." Jesus said in John 5:24, "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life." Those who die in Christ are blessed people, because they will not die but live forever with Christ in heaven. They shall meet their loved ones in heaven. That is the hope Jesus gave for every person who believes in Him and accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior. But there is no hope for those who are living without Christ.Jesus came in this world to give hope and peace while we are still in this world and after death. Do you have that hope today? Do you have the assurance that if you die today, you will go to heaven? If you are not certain about your destination, you must come to Christ. Give your life to Him. He will fill your life with peace, joy and hope that no one else could give you.

Buzzling paradise was lost within minutes when Tsunami hit the cost of those islands and cities of Asia. It filled the hearts of people with great fear. No one ever thought of having such a great tragedy. Many are looking for peace and answers. Is there anyone who can restore their lives? The lives that are broken by the waves of destruction. But Jesus came in this world to give hope where there is no hope.Hope for dying/perishing: John 3:16-17, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."God sent His only Son to die for us so that we could live forever with Him. There is a life after death. If you believe in Jesus, you have hope for eternal life, otherwise there is no hope. Jesus spoke to His disciples and promised to prepare heavenly homes for them so that they could live with Him forever in heaven.Do you have this hope for your life? If not come to Jesus and accept Him as your Lord and Savior and get new hope.Hope for future: Those who are in Christ, have hope for their future, because He holds their future. No matter what may come in your way, He has the best plan for you. Bible tells us in Jer 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." If you have given your life to Jesus, your life is in His hands and He will lead you in all goodness.Hope for sorrowful: This world is full of sorrows and tears. But Jesus came to give hope to those who are sorrowful. When Jesus was about to be crucified, He became very much distressed and sorrowful. He said in Mat 26:38, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me." He went through all the pain and sufferings that one could ever go in his/her life. He understands the pain, He understands what you face, when you are in distress and when you are in sorrow. He took all our sorrows on the cruel cross so that we must not live in sorrow but have peace and joy in this world.Are you broken hearted today? Are you going through terrible pain and sorrow? Look to Jesus who came in this world to take away your sorrow. He paid the full price on the cross so that our lives can become peaceful and blessed. He can give you new hope in your life. He can wipe away your tears. Will you look to Him and give your heart to Him?

Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 14th Oct. 2008
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 14th Oct. 2008
Printed Version of the Magazine
We are excited to announce that we are starting printed edition of the magazine that will be monthly. And will contain all the four or five issues of a month. Our online magazine will still be free and can be read via email or on our websiteThere was a huge demand that we send our magazine by snail mail.
