Last week the terrorists attacked a school in Russia and killed many school children along with their parents. It is really tragic and heartbreaking. The incident not only shook the small village but the whole world. We cannot even imagine how a person can do this type of crime directed at the innocent young ones? But we are living in a evil world where violence and terrorism have become part of our lives. A few years back no one ever thought that these types of heinous crimes can ever happen, but now it is happening as a daily occurance and it is very tragic. It is very painful for those who lost their loved ones.But Bible tells us that those who die in Christ have the hope that they will meet again. Christ not only gave us hope for after life but also for this life itself when we are still alive. He spoke and said to His disciples in John 14:1 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me." Then further He said in John 14:2-3, "In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."How soothing those words are. When we trust in God, He keeps us in perfect peace, The peace that this world cannot give. Jeremiah says the same thing in Jer 17:7-8, "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit."A person who trusts in Jesus is like a tree planted by the waters which grows rapidly not having fear of heat or anxiety when the year of drought comes, yielding fruit continuously. God wants to give us that peace and security in our lives. When I was a small child, when my parents used to go out and were late to return at night, if my elder sister was with us, I felt no fear. I always believed that if someone breaks in, she will take care of everything though she is just three years older to me. I always felt secure when she was with me and with my younger brother in home and I slept without fear.When we trust in God, He gives peace in the midst of crisis and in the midst of troubled situation. Are you grieving having lost your loved ones? Are you living without any peace in your life? Come to Jesus, give your life to Jesus and you will find peace in this troubled world. You will find solace and tranquility in the midst of your heartbreaking and unbearable situation. Jesus can wipe away tears from your eyes.
If there is a messenger for him a mediator, one among a thousand, to show man his uprightness (Job 33 : 23).I am very happy to share my testimony with you. I am happy to share, how God has lead me miraculously and what great things he had done in my life. By some miracles God’s name is glorified and by giving some sufferings his name is glorified. My testimony begins in the 2nd one. From my birth till now I had come across many trials, sufferings but God gave me strength to over come all and he made me a living witness to him. My Parents:My parents were living in a village in Bapatla, A.P. I am the youngest in my family. I have four elder Sisters. My parents were only names sake Christians. My grand mother was a lady of prayers after my birth it was through her I was named Paul with prayer. Family Situation In My Childhood:We were not a well to do family. We never had even a small land to build a house but we had a small hut in a small place for time being which was given by some one. We had food, only if my father goes to work for some daily wages. He had to work very hard to feed our family. My father was not in a good health, but due to the family condition he worked very hard.One day Mid night my father was gasping in the bed at that time my mother heard the gasping and she woke him but he never woke up. My mother cried aloud hearing my mother’s cry my self and my Sister got up from the sleep and we started to cry hearing our cry the people near by come for help. They came and trying to wake him but they failed. His hands and legs were unable to fold. So we took him to hospital after the check up doctor told us “I can’t tell you any thing until morning he also told us that he had stroke and he was attacked by tetanies by 4 am my father started moving his hands and legs. Morning he got up and started talking with us. At that time I was only 9 years old. I never knew how to pray.Meetings in my village:There were many Christian meetings conducted in our village. I used to attend them. In many meetings the pastor used to preach and cast out devils. So I was deeply in touch with that message I made up my mind to work for the Lord. So after the message and went to that pastor to have a prayer. He kept his hand on my head and prayed after the prayer he told me that God is going to use you for his work.The Critical Situation in family:The house where we lived was a small house. By the time I was 16 years old we shifted our house four times. We had critical condition during the rainy days during this rainy day our house was filled with water and no place to sleep, and even we can’t walk we had to put the husk and walk on it.When I was 16 year old I was doing my 10th class. I used to come home for my lunch. When I sit to eat my lunch my mother used to cry and tell me that she had not cooked food because there was nothing to do so. So with tears in my eyes I used to go to school.Disliked by the Friends:Since I was very poor and never had even a house to stay my friend never liked me and I was ill treated by them. Even during the play hours they never allowed me to play with them and they never talk to me some times.My Education:From 1st class to 10th class I studied in my own village and I passed in my 10th exam with second division marks. For my intermediate studies I joined in Salvation Army William Booth College in Bapatla. From my village Bapatla was in 15 km distance. Now to go to my College I had to go by bus so my mother was unable to give the bus charges and even she had no money to pay the college fees mean time I told one man who is known to me. He promised to pay college fees and encouraged me to study. So I went to my relative house and asked them for a cycle promising them that I’ll return to them and I went to college by cycle for one year.And I never had proper dress to wear after coming from the wear the next day so like this I was doing for six months. After the end of first year I got my scholarship and with that money I bought a small land in the outer part of my village for building a house. In 2nd year my relatives came and took their cycle so I was unable to go to college. So I had to stay in a room and studied. During that time I had a dream as I am giving a testimony to the Youths and that coame true at the end of my 2nd year. At the farewell function I gave a witness to the youth. Hearing my witness college correspondent promised me to send me to the ministerial training but I was not interested to go there.After my college. I went to Hyderabad to seek some work because I was forced to take care of my family burden. So I made up my mind to work during the day time and at night I planned to work with the pastors who were near by with this I took my own plan. I went to Hyderabad.Even though I was going to work yet there was no peace. One day I prayed to God with tears and fell a sleep. That night I had a dream. In that a pastor came and told me that you do God’s work God will take care of your family and through you many families will be taken care. In that dream I was crying because I can’t tell the word of God, I can’t Sing, I can’t Pray that pastor told me to read II timothy 2 : 1-2 and left. Immediately I got up and opened the bible and read those words with tears and prayed then I left my job and came to my village.Asking Forgiveness of sins and Ministry:In 1992 I asked God to forgive all my sins and I was Baptized. In the year 1992-93 I had to do the works in the church and to help the pastors. During this time I had to take some Bible study through this pastors some time if the pastor is away I had to preach the word of God so this was my training period. One night we had a out reach program. While returning home. I met with an accident and I had a cut on my fore head. I suffered a lot. In that accident a stone hit on my forehead and pus was formed. So doctor told me to undergo operation and they put some medicine on my forehead. The next day all the pus came out and I escaped from operation.Mother’s Health Condition:After building small house we were living there it all happened one day night my mother was screaming because she had a chest pain. At that time a fellowship meeting was held in stuward perum. So we took my mother and they prayed for her and then she was alright. So now I developed a great interest for prayer. So I started praying hours together. If I kneel down to pray in at morning I finish my prayers at 3 pm many times. I had no food and water during this time. My mother seeing all these things she told me that if you do like this your mind will go and even your health. So I told my mother that God had done so many things to you. If you pray God will bless us.Witness to the Church I go:When I go to many churches I used to hear many people giving witness at that time I used to think that why I’m unable to give witness is there anything wrong in me. Why God us not talking with what’s wrong with me. Many times I cried and prayed. So one day I went to a village, Since it was a Sunday I went to a church and I was sitting in the last seat and praying during the prayer I was crying. That time a woman called me by my name Bro Paul, "Why you are crying? I have chosen you. When you are in your mother womb... through her God spoke to me many things. I had many times prayed to God, "O! God, you are speaking to many people. I want you to speak with me. One day when I was praying after the prayer, I was sleeping on my knees at that time I had a dream. The dream was about a family, and they are going to under go some problem. So I went and told them about that and that thing happened to them after some days. So like this God had reveled to me many things which is going to be happened.Started my Ministry:I went to serve the Lord in a small village. The people in that village were idol worshipers, They were doing even sacrifices. So now God had done many miracles to them. Many of them who were possessed by devil were made free in the name of Jesus. Those people were inspired by God’s work. So with those few people we started a small prayer meeting. This village has no bus service in any direction for five km. But God sent me to this village to do His work.Every Sunday I had to go to that village and it was very expansive. So I asked the people if they can give me a room to stay. But no one gave me a room. I prayed with tears and asked God for help. I told God, "Since you told me to come to this village, I came to this village and now I want a room. You should provide it." After some time they gave me a house. The house was considered as a cursed one because a man died in that house before it was completely built. So no one wanted to live in this house. Villager told me the story. I told them no problem, give that house to me. So they gave that house to me. In that house I fasted and prayed for ten days.One night when I was sleeping I felt something on me. I was unable to move my hands or legs and I was unable to shout even. This happened for ten minuets. That time Satan told me that, "he had the power." But that night I used the word of God to chase the devil. I told Romans :- 16:20, Colossian :-2:15 and I John :- 4:17.In the year 1997 May 17 I got married and settled down in my life. As I told you if we want to go any where from our village we have to walk 5 Km. So my wife and myself had to walk and go to other Village and pray for the sick and tell the word of God. My Wife is a great help in my Ministry. When I go out to minister alone my wife stays home and prays for me. God graciously gave us gift of two children a baby girl and a boy.In the year 1999 God heard my prayer and gave me a cycle to do His work. In that cycle my wife my daughter and myself visit to many Villages to do God’s work. In the year 2000 God gave me a church. Many believed in the Lord and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The church has grown a lot. Please pray for us.Thank youM. Paul (Pastor).
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it."
