Once my sister lived in a hostel for her studies. She was not saved at that time but was a nominal Christian. A few years later she got saved and gave her life to Jesus. Later when she moved out of that college one night she saw a dream. In her dream she saw one of the senior girls who seemed to be in torment or in great pain. She said, “Sheela, if you had told me about Jesus, I would not have been in this condition today…” My sister woke up frightened seeing that dream. We could not find out what happened to that girl but we realized how important it is to tell about Jesus to every person around us. Once Jesus spoke in Luke 16:19-31 "There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. Then he cried and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.' But Abraham said, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.' Then he said, 'I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.' Abraham said to him, 'They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.' And he said, 'No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.' But he said to him, 'If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.'"This rich man went to a place of torment and he was begging for a drop of water because he was in flames and there was no water. When he realized that neither he could come out nor anybody from father Abraham could go to him, he begged again to send someone to his family so that they would not come to the same place where he was. Think about it, how many people around us are saved? I can say very few. Think about the urgency of this salvation message to be conveyed to the perishing souls. Whenever I hear about someone’s death, the first thing comes in my mind whether the person reached heaven or not. As soon as a person dies he/she loses the privilege of repenting and turning back to God. Bible says in Heb 9:27, “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” So as long as a person is alive, there is hope for him/her. But after death nothing remains except judgment. Jesus spoke about two gates and two ways. One is narrow and other is wide. Jesus urged the people to enter by the narrow gate as we read in Mat 7:13-14, "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”Yes, people are dying every moment but the question is where are they going? Where are you going after death? Have you known the Savior personally? If not you need to think seriously because eternal torment is waiting for you. If you say that you are saved, do you have passion to reach the perishing souls for Jesus? Come dedicate your life to Jesus once again and be in the work of rescuing souls from hell fire.
How days, months and years fly and here we are celebrating 10th year. I am so glad to say that God has helped us, all these years to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to you. This ministry is dedicated to serve Him with the love, compassion and great concern of Jesus Christ for perishing souls. We thank you all who read this magazine week after week and wrote suggestions, prayer requests. We took every prayer request as of ours and prayed with great burden and with tears though at times we were not able to reply. We once again assure you that our commitment of praying and pleading for you before our Lord Jesus Christ would never change. We are also grateful for all who prayed for us and stood with us all these years. We are looking forward to serve God with new enthusiasm in the coming year and years ahead. In the book of Genesis we read the story of Adam and Eve who sinned against God and ate the forbidden fruit. The consequence was that they were driven out of the garden of Eden and lost the fellowship of God. Their relationship with God was broken. But many think how this could affect the whole human race?Well, I remember how easy it was before 9/11 to move around in airport and other places but ever since the World Trade Center buildings were being attacked, it is no longer easy as before. Increased security has caused considerable time and inconvenience to passengers. Why? Because of a few people who committed the crime of killing innocent people by destroying those huge buildings. It affected not only the whole nation but also the whole world. This is exactly what happened when Adam and Eve sinned against God. It affected the whole human race. Sin came in this world and we are living in a corrupted world. One man’s foolishness (sin) came in this world as we read in Rom 5:12, “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned;”But thanks to Lord Jesus Christ who came in this world and died on our behalf so that we could have all the blessings which Adam and Eve enjoyed before their fall. We read in Rom 5:15-17, “But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)”We also read in John 11:50 "nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation should perish."Today we could come to the very throne of God because of the shed blood of Jesus and ask for the forgiveness of our sins. Today we can have eternal life through the great sacrifice Jesus did for us. My friend, come to Him and give your life to Him. He will make you free as He promised in John 8:32 "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month.
