EDITORIAL
When Jesus was about to go from this world, His disciples were filled with sorrow and they had no comfort no peace but Jesus said to them in John 14:18 "I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. And in John 14:16 "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever. And also in John 14:26 "But the Helper(comforter), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." Yes, Jesus wants us to be in perfect peace, joy and happiness. and we can see these promises given by Jesus fulfilled in the book of Acts chapter 2:1-4 ,"When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." He sent His comforter on the day of Pentecost and filled with them with might, power and comfort. He abides with us forever and gives us peace as a mother comforts her child, He comforts us. Yes, my friend, it is a marvelous experience ever happens to a person when he or she gets filled with the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit comforts us in our sorrows, gives courage at the time of troubles, gives peace in the midst of sorrows. If you didn't get this experience yet, ask God to fill you with this marvelous experience as Bible says in Luke 11:13 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 13th Jan. 2009
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 13th Jan. 2009
Printed Version of the Magazine
We are excited to announce that we are starting printed edition of the magazine that will be monthly. And will contain all the four or five issues of a month. Our online magazine will still be free and can be read via email or on our websiteThere was a huge demand that we send our magazine by snail mail. So that you can read it offline as well as give it to your friends. So we are starting a printed version. To cover the printing cost we decided to charge a small subscription fee.
