Who is God? Many people have different opinion about God. Once we were talking about one of our cousin who was about to marry a girl who is not of our cast. My aunt said, "Love does not have eye and nose." I laughed and said to my sister it means God is love and He also does not have eye and nose. Many times people think like that about God that if they do anything... if they go anywhere.... it will not make any difference.....if they drink in a party, they say, we are only a social drinker.... Even people don't feel shame to say about their shameful acts. Doing all these things people think that they are very broad minded people. But they forget that they are so much broad minded that their brain has come out and even they don't have awareness about it... What a pity. Isn't it we have sealed our conscience and unable to see what is wrong and what is right. Many people think that if they do anything, God will forgive them because He is very loving God. Yes, He is a loving God but it does not mean that you can do anything. No, never...but there is forgiveness if you repent from your sins and turn from your sins....oh, again people say, repenting? It is a humiliating act. We are not that much low people....We can not do this..... Why not? Are we above God who humbled Himself for us and died on the cruel cross to save us from our sins. He was without sin but He became sin for us. And Bible says in 1 John 1:8, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." My dear friend, repent from your sins to Jesus and He will forgive and forget your sins and will give you a new life." If you have any prayer request please feel free to send it to us. This weeks Issue was right on for me. I have been going through some very difficult times right now. I keep asking God what he wants me to do and there seems to be no answer. We have not had the second pay check...which we need to make the monthly bills at our home. And right now I only have $175 of the $351.13 April payment on the trailer. The loan company will not refinance my loan so my payment will be smaller and so we are at out wits end. We have ate our last meal tonight and don't know where the next one is going to come from. In this time of need we are trusting God and got peace through your E-ZineBeverly
Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 13th May. 2008
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 13th May. 2008
Printed Version of the Magazine
We are excited to announce that we are starting printed edition of the magazine that will be monthly. And will contain all the four or five issues of a month. Our online magazine will still be free and can be read via email or on our websiteThere was a huge demand that we send our magazine by snail mail. So that you can read it offline as well as give it to your friends. So we are starting a printed version. To cover the printing cost we decided to charge a small subscription fee.
