We have entered into the New Year; In fact, this is the beginning of a new decade. But we can sense the fear, the chaos among people because of the Christmas day bomber who tried to blow the airplane in the midair. It is unbelievable why any would ever do these types of things. The only reason is that they are desperate to somehow find forgiveness of their sins. According to Quran, there is no other way to get salvation or forgiveness of sins, except by killing the infidels (non-Muslims). But I have good news to tell that someone had already sacrificed His life for us to redeem us from our sins. He gave up everything and came down in this world just to pull us out of our sins. He shed His precious blood on the cruel cross just to wash away all our sins. His name is Jesus. We need not to sacrifice anything else to achieve salvation of our souls. We have to only accept the gift of forgiveness which God wants to give to us. Jesus said in John 15:13, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.”We also read In Rom 5:6-8, “For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."What a great love that God showed to the dying humanity. We have just to come to Jesus and ask for forgiveness of our sins and He will wash us clean as we read in 1John 1:7, “…and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”If the creator of this world could humble Himself and could come down in this world and die a humiliating death, why can we not humble ourselves before Him and accept Him as our Lord and Savior? When those sins and guilt are forgiven, automatically peace and joy would fill in the hearts of those who surrender to Him. Heaven will come down on earth. Fear and chaos would be gone and more than that eternal life will be offered to you. Jesus came to give this wonderful life to every person. If you want to have this wonderful life, invite Him in your hearts and when He will come in, He will change everything. He will give you a new life full of peace, joy and happiness.Wish you all a very happy and blessed New Year 2010!on 12th Jan. 2010 we are going to fast and Pray for financial breakthrough in your lives. If you are about to lose your home in foreclosure, if you are unable to make monthly payments or if you are looking for job, if you have financial crisis, please send your prayer request before 12th Jan. and expect a miracle that Lord Jesus would turn your situations around.
1. Deliverance: Bible talks about a man named Daniel who was righteous, who loved the Lord with all his heart. He was just a young boy when he was taken as captive in Babylon. It is the story of this young man, who stood for God, who never denied Him, who never wavered in his faith. At one point he was thrown in lion’s den. But the Bible tells us that God sent His angels to shut the mouth of lions. So, the lions could not eat Daniel. But when those who accused Daniel were thrown in the lion’s den, they were eaten even before they could reach to the bottom. Daniel had to go through so many troubles and yet God delivered him from all those troubles and exalted him before others.The same God will go before you this year and deliver you from all your troubles and exalt you before others.2. Guidance:Bible talks about a man named Jacob. He had to run for his life because his elder brother Esau was seeking to kill him. When Jacob was traveling to his uncle’s place, he stopped at a place called Bethel and that night he saw a dream. God appeared to him in the dream and said in Gen 28:15, “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you." Further we read that Jacob went to his uncle’s house, got married and lived for many years in his house and returned back safely as God promised him. When he was with his uncle Laban, because of him, God blessed the business of Laban and prospered him.The same God will be with you, guide you and fulfill all the promises which He has given to you.3. Protection:When Jacob was returning to Canaan, Laban pursued him thinking of doing some harm, but Bible tells us that God provided protection to Jacob as we read in:Gen 31:24, But God had come to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said to him, "Be careful that you speak to Jacob neither good nor bad." And Laban told Jacob what God told him in Gen 31:29, "It is in my power to do you harm, but the God of your father spoke to me last night, saying, 'Be careful that you speak to Jacob neither good nor bad.' Jacob went from that place and the next thing was more difficult for him. Because he had to meet his brother Esau before whom he had fled. Though many years have passed since then, yet he was frightened to hear that Esau was coming to meet him with four hundred men. But the amazing thing was that before he heard the worst news about Esau’s coming, “angels of God met him” as we read in Gen 32:1-2, “So Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him. When Jacob saw them, he said, "This is God's camp." And he called the name of that place Mahanaim.” That night Jacob stayed there and pleaded with God for protection and deliverance. Gen 32:9, Then Jacob said, "O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, the LORD who said to me, 'Return to your country and to your family, and I will deal well with you'" Then Jacob got assurance and blessing of God in Gen 32:28 And He said, "Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed." Then God blessed him and Jacob faced Esau without an incident. The same God who blessed Jacob and provided His protection for him will do the same for you. He will send His angels before you and give you favor in the eyes of your enemies.4. In a land of plenty:When God was taking the Israelites to the land of Canaan, He promised them that He will take them to a land of plenty where milk and honey flows. We read in Deu 8:7-10, For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper. When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which He has given you.”The same God who led Israelites to the good land will lead you to the good land where you will have no scarcity but only blessings.5. ProsperityWe read in Lev 26:9 "For I will look on you favorably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you."I believe that this is a year of God’s favor for His Children and He will bless the works of our hands.Deu 15:10, “…the LORD your God will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand. He will prosper the hard work you put in your work. 6. He will give rest and peace:There are people who have everything in their lives but no peace. But God will give His peace and blessings which will not fade away to His people who walk in His ways.

As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month.
