Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon suffered a massive stroke last week. WorldNetDaily, July 26, 2005, reported, "Fringe activists held a midnight kabbalistic ritual in an ancient cemetery calling for angels of death to kill Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and thwart his Gaza withdrawal plan, participants in the ceremony told WND. The same individuals used the ritual against Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin one month before his assassination in 1995. The activists said they performed a 'Pulsa Dinura' a kabbalistic ceremony in which God is asked to curse a sinner, usually an enemy of the Jewish people and prayed for a death curse to be placed on Sharon."Bible does not talk about any of these types of rituals. Many believe that, it is a witchcraft procedure to put a curse upon someone. No matter what it is, Bible tells us how we can be protected from all these evil things. In Exodus 12th chapter God spoke to Moses and said that, "they shall take some of the blood of the lamb and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it.(Exo. 12:7)" And further He said in Exo 12:22-23, "And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning. For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you." This was the promise for those who will put the blood of the lamb on doorposts and lintel of their houses. God protected them according to His promise. When He saw the blood of the Lamb on the doorposts and lintel, He passed over those houses and did not destroy them. But the same time the destroyer destroyed those who were not marked with the blood of the Lamb. There is power in the blood of the Lamb. On the cross Jesus destroyed greatest enemy of mankind - the death. He crushed the death and sorrows of hell on the cruel cross so that we could not experience it in our lives. Bible says in Heb 2:14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil..."If you have applied the blood of Jesus on the doors and lintel of your heart, He will protect you from all evil and even eternal death. He said in Rev 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." Will you hear His voice today and open your heart for Him? He will come and bless your life. He will give you eternal life.
Mighty God
Isa 9:6, "For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."One of the titles of Messiah was "Mighty God". We can read the mighty deeds of God throughout the Old Testament. He delivered people with His mighty arms. He provided them, led them and fulfilled His promises. Whenever His children called upon His name, He heard their cry and rescued them from all their troubles. Not only that but we can also read some awesome miracles like sun and moon stood still as we read in Josh 10:12-13 Then Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel: "Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon." So the sun stood still, And the moon stopped, Till the people had revenge Upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day."Though the whole earth covered with water Noah and his family survived making an ark as per the instruction of the Lord. Joseph who was sold as a slave to Egypt could reunite with his family after many years, while there were no chances of reuniting of a slave to his family. It was nothing short of a miracle. David who was a mere shepherd boy who knew nothing about the kingship, God made him a king. But before that Saul, the king of Israel tried to kill him and destroy his life yet even being a king he could not touch him nor could reach near him, because the Mighty God was with him and was his protection. The same mighty God came down in this world and walked on the face of the earth in a frame of a mere man. Wherever he walked, He did mighty miracles. The whole New Testament is the evidence of His mighty deeds. When He saw the widow of Nain whose only son was dead, He moved with compassion for her and raised him from death-bed. When He saw anguished sisters of Lazarus, He was moved with compassion for them and raised their brother and wiped away their tears. When He saw a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed" and when He saw the faith in her, He healed her daughter and she was healed that very moment. Once two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, "Son of David, have mercy on us!" And He moved with compassion for them and healed them. These are just few of the miracles done by mighty God. He is none other than Jesus Christ.The same God when He steps into our hearts and in our lives, He changes everything. He transforms us and makes us useful vessel for Him. What a wonderful thing it is to allow the Mighty God to step into our lives. What a privilege to have Him as our Savior and Master of our life. Are you in need of a miracle today? Are you desperately looking for a supernatural intervention in any areas of your life? Look to Jesus, He can help you. He can deliver you from all your troubles.

Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 14th Sep. 2010
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 14th Sep. 2010
