In Acts 16:25-31 we read about the experience of Paul and Silas when they were in prison. At midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God. The prisoners in the prison were also listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed. The keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep, seeing that the prison doors were open, supposing that the prisoners would have fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, "Do yourself no harm, for we are all here." Then the keeper of the prison called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas, brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"This is not the question that the keeper of the prison had alone asked, but this is the question that has been asked by every person from centuries. And that is the reason why they came up with different methods to get forgiveness of their sins and many religions came up. If we look into the religion of Hinduism, we see that they believe that, if a person goes to the four pilgrimages of India that are situated in North, South, East and West parts of India, their sins would be forgiven. They also believe that if they give alms to the poor, if they dip in the holy rivers of India, if they torture their bodies they will find forgiveness of their sins. If we look in Islam they believe that unless they blow themselves out in pieces, they cannot have salvation of their souls. But look at the question of the prison keeper, when he asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?", the simplest answer came from Paul and Silas in Acts 16:31, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."How simple it is! Just believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and your sins will be forgiven, you will be saved! It is that simple. In Isaiah 45:21-22 God says the same thing that we have to just turn to Him and get saved. As we read, "Tell and bring forth your case; Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I, the LORD? And there is no other God besides Me, A just God and a Savior; There is none besides Me. Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other."You can see that you have to do nothing else but just turn to God and get forgiveness of your sins. When we come to Jesus, when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He not only forgives our sins but also He gives us eternal life and assurance of heaven. And also He gives the right to become children of God as written in John 1:12-13, "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."What a privilege to become a child of God. What a joyous moment to be known as a child of the Most High God! Yes, my friend, God wants us to save us from hell fire and that is the reason why He came in this world and gave His life for us. Just come to Him and He is ready to forgive your sins.

But today I would take you to a journey from Genesis to Revelation where you will see only "Feel Good" message and nothing else! So fasten your seat belts.When God created this world, He looked at His creation and every time He looked, He saw that it was good. God Himself was feeling good about His creation. When He created Adam and Eve and again He looked and saw that they were created beautifully and wonderfully. And God really blessed them as we read in Gen 1:27-28, "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth." Then He gave a final look at His creation and the Bible says in Gen 1:31, "Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good." Here is the picture that God had made a perfect, beautiful and a very good world and He was fully satisfied and very much pleased with His hand work. God enjoyed seeing His perfect creation. So far everything looks to me "feel good". But Adam and Eve sinned. When sin came in this world, God was angry, Adam and Eve were upset, the world was in chaos and everything looked distasteful and ugly. There was nothing good that was left because pain, suffering, death, heartbreak and all kinds of trouble came in this world. So you see that the goodness of God was lost from this world and the blessings had turned into curses. Things dramatically changed. The "Feel Good" thing was gone with entry of sin.But God could not see the troubled, chaotic and tragic condition of men and He decided to come down in this world so that He could restore our condition to the original state. In Isaiah 61:1-7 we read, "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified." And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations. Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, And the sons of the foreigner Shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. But you shall be named the priests of the LORD, They shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory you shall boast. Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs."Then we read in the New Testament that God Himself came down in this world to save us from our sins and from hell fire and to restore us the joy and peace we had lost because of sin.If the message of salvation is not "Feel Good" message, then what? If the message of the true Gospel is not "Feel Good" message, then what? If the message that brings forgiveness of our souls is not "Feel Good" message, then what? If the message that removes the burdens of sin and guilt from our lives and rescues us from death penalty is not "Feel Good" message then what? Jesus clearly said that He came in this world so that our tears be wiped away, our broken hearts be healed, our mourning be turned into happy dance, our death be turned to life. To me God is interested to give us "Feel Good" life, if we just come to Him and fall at His feet. He is ready to turn our lives around. He is ready to fill us with unending Joy and peace that this world cannot give. He is ready to change that ugly and chaotic phase of our lives which we have inherited from our forefathers Adam and Eve by forgiving our sins.

As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month.
