The Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate which took place yesterday was the most remarkable event of the 21st century. It was watched by more than 2 billion people around the world. How much preparations, rehearsals and practices were done before the main event took place to make sure that everything goes well exactly as they have planned. Once Jesus spoke a parable and said in Mat 25:1-13, "Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom delayed in arriving, they all slumbered and slept. At midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!' Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.' But the wise answered, saying, 'No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.' And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!' But he answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.' Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming."When Jesus ascended to heaven and when the disciples were gazing towards the sky, angels told them as in Acts 1:11, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."Bible tells time and time again that Jesus will be coming back one day to take His bride 'the Church'. And those who are not ready, those whose garments are not white as snow, those whose sins are not forgiven will not be able to go to heaven with Jesus. We read in Eph 5:26-27, "...Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish."Jesus is coming back to take the glorious church with Him that does not have any spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. Are you one of those who could be with Jesus in heaven?Jesus said in Rev 3:17-18, "Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing'; and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked; I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see."Jesus came for this very purpose so that He could take away our sins and He did that by shedding His precious blood on the cross. Today we can have salvation of our souls by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior. When we do that, Jesus washes us with His precious blood and gives us white garments and eternal life. This wonderful life can be yours if you just come to Jesus.

Salvation for sinners cost God His own son; it cost God's Son His life, and it'll cost you the same thing. Salvation isn't gained by reciting mere words."The more I explore in the book of John MacArthur, the more I am convinced that John MacArthur is not saved. Not only that he is not saved, he has also never accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Further he forbids others who want to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior telling them not to do so. According to his above statement it is more than clear that he wants to reject Jesus' sacrifice on the cruel cross and instead he wants to choose his own way, that is, his own hard work to go to heaven. If we can go to heaven by self denial and hard work then we really do not need God. But in fact our self denial, our good works and our righteous deeds are just filthy rags in the sight of God. No matter how much sacrifice we do, no matter how much hard work we do, no matter how much we suffer ourselves yet we cannot get rid of our sins nor can we find salvation of our souls through our sufferings.Our sufferings, our self-denial and our sacrifice cannot make us Christian. But there is only one way for our salvation and that way is that we must come at the feet of Jesus and accept Him as our Lord and Savior. I know that it is hard for John MacArthur and such people who believe in their own efforts instead of believing in Jesus' sacrifice. But there is only one way to go to heaven, that is, Jesus' work that He had completed on the cross. In fact becoming a Christian is the easiest thing to do. We need not to do anything except just to come to Jesus as we are and accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Bible tells us in John 1:12-13, "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."It is completely astonishing to read John MacArthur's statement that, "Don't believe anyone who says it's easy to become a Christian." But by saying so John MacArthur has nullified the claim of Jesus which says in Mat 11:28-29, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."Further he writes in page #96 that, "So many people who aren't saved think they are, and they're going to be shocked to learn otherwise when it's too late. Many times they're lulled into this state because they have a false doctrine of assurance. Somebody has told them that as long as they ask Jesus into their hearts, or pray this prayer, or perform this little ceremony they're safely in the kingdom."But how could it be a false doctrine of assurance which was spoken by Jesus Himself, His disciples and throughout Old Testament that we are not saved by our works but by the shed blood of the lamb? How could it be a false doctrine of assurance when Jesus Himself said in John 3:3, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God"?How could it be false when people asked Peter and Paul, "what should we do to be saved" and they told them to confess their sins and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior? Is John MacArthur making his own new Bible which denies the teachings of Jesus and His disciples? Jesus started His ministry by saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Jesus did not say that you need to sacrifice yourself as I am sacrificing Myself then only you can go to heaven. No, He clearly spoke and said, "Repent and turn to God". David says in Psa 32:5, "I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD," And You forgave the iniquity of my sin."Apostle Paul says in Rom 10:9, "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."So the whole Bible tells us that unless we repent or confess our sins and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior there is no salvation but here comes John MacArthur who tells us that we do not need to confess our sins or accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior or that we do not need to say a simple prayer of repentance for receiving salvation etc. To me it seems that John MacArthur does not believe in Jesus' work on the cross and the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus for salvation of our souls but believes in his own ability of self denial to get into heaven. But there is no way through our self-denial to go to heaven.
