Ten years back what happened in America is unthinkable. Who can forget those terror attacks on Sep. 11, 2001 when two skyscrapers came crashing down! How many lives were lost, how many dreams perished that day and how many lives were shattered to the cores. It was a tragedy beyond anybodies imagination! No human mind could ever have fathomed why anybody in this world would ever create this type of wickedness and bring about this much tragedy for others? Why anybody could ever do such evil to their fellow human beings? But this is the result of that sinful nature we inherited from Adam and Eve when they fell in sin and corrupted themselves. The same sinful blood is flowing through our blood and when we sin, it is because of the same sinful nature we had inherited from our forefathers. Bible tells us in Gen 6:5 and 11, "Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And in 6:11, "The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence" More than that Jesus reminded in all His teachings that our stay in this world is not permanent and that this world is passing by, but there is an everlasting home for which we need to look for to reach there. Jesus said in John 14:1-2, "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."When I was very small probably four or five years old, one night I saw a dream. In my dream I saw that Jesus was sitting in a place that seemed like a garden. There many bird nests were hanging on a tree. Some were large, some small and they were of different kinds. Then Jesus took me to one of the nests and showed me saying it is yours.Yes, Jesus went to prepare a place for those who believe on Him. Are you ready to go to that beautiful place which Jesus is preparing for you? If you die today, do you have the assurance that you will be in heaven? If not, please confess your sins and invite Jesus in your life so that you could be in heaven. Because no one can enter into heaven with their sins but if anybody wants to go to heaven, their sins must be forgiven.Psalmist says in Psalms 15:1-5, "LORD, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart; He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend; In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors those who fear the LORD; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change; He who does not put out his money at usury, Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved."In simple words, sinners cannot enter into heaven. But Jesus came in this world and gave His precious life for us so that we could have salvation of our souls. His precious blood was shed on the cross so that our sins could be forgiven. Today we have hope that we can go to heaven because of His shed blood on the cruel cross. If you have not yet received forgiveness of your sins, this is the time, this is the day, come to Jesus and ask Him in your heart.

Jesus' first requirement in Luke 9 was for Christians to deny themselves, but that's just about impossible to do. Self importance is the reigning reality in human fallenness: man is the master of his own soul, the captain of his own fate, the monarch of his own world. To say he has to deny and slay himself is simply too much to swallow. Preach a gospel that doesn't include that, and people will flock around to get out of hell and into heaven. But start preaching the true gospel, the hard words of Jesus that call for total and absolute self-denial--the recognition that we're worthy of nothing, commendable for nothing, and that nothing in us is worth salvaging--and that's a lot less popular. Take it from someone who has been targeted on national television for saying this."John MacArthur has misunderstood the words of Jesus. Jesus "never" said that you need to deny yourself in order to get into heaven. But the fact is that Jesus said that it is as easy as we enter through any door. What have we to do then to get salvation of our souls? We have to do nothing except to enter through Jesus because Jesus is the door as we read in John 10:9-10, "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."Jesus clearly said, "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved." The problem is that people try to sideline Jesus and try to use their own wisdom and their own efforts to get into heaven. But the Bible is very clear that we cannot get into heaven by our own efforts. No matter how much we try, no matter how much we cut ourselves but there is only one name given under haven and on earth for our salvation that is the name of Jesus. If we want to get salvation by any other means then it is not true gospel but a false gospel which does not hold any substance in it.John MacArthur further says, "...we're worthy of nothing, commendable for nothing, and that nothing in us is worth salvaging..."Once again John MacArthur is wrong because Jesus spoke time and time again telling people that they are valuable and that God really cared for them as we read in Mat 6:26 "Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?"In Mat 10:29-31, "Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows."And in Luke 12:6-7, "Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows."By saying, God's valuable creation as worthless is to mock God and to deny His ability to create beautifully. Psalmist says in Psa 139:14, "I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.Psa 139:15, "My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.Psa 139:16, "Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.Psa 139:17, "How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!Psa 139:18, "If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.I wish that John MacArthur must read Bible carefully and give glory to God instead of taking glory himself and boasting on his self-righteousness of self-denial.

As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month.
