From the Bible we read about David. When Saul, the then king of Israel came to know that the Prophet Samuel had anointed David to become king of Israel, he realized that his throne was in danger. Saul wanted to kill David at any cost. David saw that his circumstances were not favorable for him, in fact so odd that he had to run for his life. Then we read in 1 Sam 23:19-27 that the people of Gibeah came to Saul and informed him of the exact location where David was hiding and also assured him that David would be delivered in his hands.Saul was delighted to hear that the people of Gibeah knew the exact location of David's hideouts. In short all the odds were against David. Further we read in 1 Sam 23:26-27, Then Saul went on one side of the mountain, and David and his men on the other side of the mountain. So David made haste to get away from Saul, for Saul and his men were encircling David and his men to take them. But a messenger came to Saul, saying, "Hasten and come, for the Philistines have invaded the land!"When Saul thought that he was so close that he could catch David, and at that very critical moment God made him to hurriedly go after the Philistines. Yes, my friend, there are millions of ways through which God can protect His children and there are millions of ways through which God can help His children. When the enemy thought that he was about to get his prey, at that very moment distraction came and he had to move to another direction. In the Bible we read that God did not allow Saul to come near David. Every attempt of Saul was failed to stop David from becoming king over Israel and one day God made David the king of Israel.At times when enemy presses in and we lose our hopes, at times when we think that all our hopes will be dashed and there is no hope left for us but if we put our trust in the Lord God of Israel, He will deliver us without giving any chance to the enemy to succeed. No matter what your situation is today, no matter how hard your battles are, no matter how close your enemies have got to, no matter how impossible it looks like yet God can turn your situations around. God can scatter your enemies and can bring a great deliverance in your life.When Adam and Eve sinned and when they saw defeat in their lives when sin entered in this world, God Himself sacrificed an animal to cover their shame. The same God loved us so much that He gave His only Son to die on our behalf for our sins on the cruel cross. Jesus went to the cross and shed His precious blood to take away our sins and He purchased pardon for our sins.Today we can be delivered, we can be restored, we can be blessed, we can have a triumphant life, if we just come to Jesus and give our lives in the mighty hands of Him. If you are facing defeats, if you are facing only troubles, if you are living in sin and addictions and unable to come out of these things, if you are crying and seeing an unstable future in front of you, come to Jesus and give your life to Him. He will turn around your situations and He will make your life a blessed one.

I couldn't know Him as my Savior until I gave up my life to Him. Then I knew. Parading an infinite number of miracles in front of me wouldn't have proved anything. Miracles are beside the point. You will never know whether Jesus can save your soul from hell, give you new life, re-create your soul, plant His Holy Spirit there, forgive your sin, and send you to heaven until you give your life totally to Him. That is self-denial, cross bearing, and following Him in obedience." Once again John MacArthur proved that he believes in salvation through his own works of self-denial and cross bearing. To know Jesus as our Savior we do not need to do self-denial and cross bearing. We have to just come at the feet of Jesus acknowledging our sins and repenting from our sins. But to my amazement John MacArthur's website talks about it as if "easy-believism" and in his website an article titled "An Introduction to Lordship Salvation" says that "Present-day evangelicalism, by and large, ignores these warnings. The prevailing view of what constitutes saving faith continues to grow broader and more shallow, while the portrayal of Christ in preaching and witnessing becomes fuzzy. Anyone who claims to be a Christian can find evangelicals willing to accept a profession of faith, whether or not the person's behavior shows any evidence of commitment to Christ. In this way, faith has become merely an intellectual exercise. Instead of calling men and women to surrender to Christ, modern evangelism asks them only to accept some basic facts about Him.This shallow understanding of salvation and the gospel, known as "easy-believism," stands in stark contrast to what the Bible teaches."What John MacArthur is teaching is completely wrong and contrary to the Bible. By saying easy-believism he declared that the death of Jesus on the cruel cross was incomplete and the work of our salvation was incomplete and because of that we need to do self denial and cross bearing. But the fact is that Jesus' death is the perfect sacrifice. There is no other sacrifice needed. It seems to me that John MacArthur believes in his self-denial and sufferings more than the words of Jesus who said from the cross that, "It is finished" means the work of our salvation is complete! In fact the work of our salvation has already been done on the cross and we do not need to redo the work of our salvation by self-denial and by cross-bearing. Even if we torture our body still we cannot get salvation of our souls or we cannot get forgiveness of our sins.It is also a big lie that Evangelicals teach wrong theory of salvation I went through the website of Pastor Benny Hinn who has clearly put together about how to get salvation in his website at SalvationI have copied it for everyone to see: STEP #1: Understand that God's desire for you is life, abundant, and eternal.The Bible declares:"I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10).Giving you abundant life required the supreme sacrifice: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).God desires fellowship and companionship with you. What a wonderful gift the Father has given, yet if God gave His own Son to provide an abundant and everlasting life, why don’t more people have what He has designed for us to receive? It is a question answered by this sobering realization. STEP #2: Realize that you are separated from God.There is a gap between God and mankind. He has provided a way for us to receive an abundant and eternal life, but people throughout the ages have made selfish choices to disobey God Almighty. These choices continue to cause separation from the Father.God’s Word shows us that the result of sin is death. He says in His Word:"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death" (Proverbs 14:12). And God also said,"But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear" (Isaiah 59:2). Paul the apostle states in Romans 3:23,"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."And in Romans 6:23 we read:"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."Every human was created with the ability and need to know God and fellowship with Him. Augustine, a minister who lived during the fourth and fifth centuries, called this longing in each of us "that God-shaped vacuum."Every day we hear of people who are rich, famous, achievers, star athletes—people who seem to have the best life can offer—yet they try to fill that empty void in their lives with "things." They even try good works, morality, and religion. Yet they remain empty, for only God, through His Son, can fill that emptiness.STEP #3: Accept the fact that God has provided only one solution to sin and separation from Himself.Jesus Christ, His Son, is the only way to God. Only He can reconcile us to God the Father. Mankind may seek other solutions and worship other gods, but Jesus Christ, alone, died on the Cross for our sins and rose in triumph over the grave and eternal death. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and mankind.The Bible explains: "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). We are also told,"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God" (1 Peter 3:18).There is only one way provided:"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5).For in John 14:6 we read, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."God Almighty has provided the only way. Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sin and rebellion against God by dying on the cross, shedding His blood, and rising from the dead to justify and reconcile you back to God the Father.STEP #4: Get ready to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.You can be brought back to God, and your relationship with Him can be restored by trusting in Christ alone to save your life from destruction. What an incredible exchange: Your worst for God’s best!This step happens by asking Jesus Christ to take away your sin and to come into your heart to be your Lord and Savior.God’s Word is very clear:"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20).And the Bible tells us,"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9). Are you willing to let go of your burdens and sins?Are you willing to turn away and repent from your sins?Are you willing to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior now?STEP #5: Pray to Receive Jesus Christ into your life.At this moment you can pray the most important prayer of your life by simply saying:Dear Lord Jesus,I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You came to earth 2,000 years ago. I believe you died for me on the cross and shed Your blood for my salvation. I believe you rose from the dead and ascended on high. I believe You are coming back again to earth. Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. Forgive my sin. Cleanse me now with Your precious blood. Come into my heart. Save my soul right now. I give you my life. I receive You now as my Savior, my Lord, and my God. I am Yours forever, and I will serve You and follow You the rest of my days. From this moment on, I belong to You only. I no longer belong to this world, nor to the enemy of my soul. I belong to You, and I am born again.Amen!By praying this prayer, confessing your sins, and receiving Jesus Christ into your heart, God has given you the right to become His forgiven child. The Bible gives you this assurance: "But as many as received him, to them he gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them who believe on his name" (John 1:12).-----------So you can see that the plan of salvation is very simple but people like John MacArthur has made it very difficult and unapproachable for every person. Jesus rightly spoke for these type of people in Luk 11:52, "Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in you hindered."Jesus clearly told them that neither they are entering in heaven nor allowing others to enter. But if we humble ourselves and come to Jesus, He is ready to forgive and forget all our sins right at this point and He is ready to give eternal life. Would you come to Jesus and accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior?

As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 16th Nov. 2015
