Making God our partner is when blessings start happening. We read about Ruth in the Bible. She was a widow. But when she accepted the God of Naomi as her God she found blessings in her life. When her mother-in-law Naomi advised her to return to her family and to her home, Ruth's reply was, (Ruth 1:16-17), "Entreat me not to leave you, Or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God. Where you die, I will die, And there will I be buried. The LORD do so to me, and more also, If anything but death parts you and me."She knew the risk of following Naomi and her God. She knew that her future may never be bright again, she may never be a bride again, and she may never be a mother of children. But she sacrificed all her ambitions and desires to follow Naomi's God. She left her family, her country and came to a strange country where nobody was there for her whom she could claim as her own. She was not obligated to follow her mother-in-law to the new country and yet Ruth chose to stay with her mother-in-law. The bottom line was that there was no hope for her for a better future. In the natural it would have been better for her to return to her family and to her home and start a new life after getting married etc. At times how much we worry about things and about our future. I remember when I was a small child; my parents would strictly make us to study, study and study. They would tell us, "if you do not study well; there would be no future for you." Of course that is true, 'who will give you a job in India if you do not have a degree?'But sometimes we worry in vain and lose our peace of mind but Jesus said in Matthew 6:33-34, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."So Ruth tried to be faithful to her new found faith. She sought God more than her family, her friends and her native place and the result was that God blessed her and her future was very bright. She lacked nothing. Her marriage took place wonderfully and also she became the great grandmother of David through whom Jesus came in this world. You can see that she was not expecting anything like this when she decided to follow the God of Naomi leaving everything behind. Yet God provided for her every blessing in her life. The same thing happens when we make God our partner. His blessings start flowing in our lives.When we invite Jesus in our lives, the first blessing that comes in our lives is eternal life - A life that will never fade away. With this life we get great peace and joy that this world cannot give. More than that we get the assurance of heaven that if we die today, we will be in heaven.My friend, what a wonderful thing it is to become a partner of God by coming at His feet. If you want to invite Jesus in your life, please pray this prayer with me:Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, please forgive and forget all my sins. Today wash me with your precious blood and give me a place in heaven. I invite you to become my Lord and Savior. I thank you Jesus for hearing my prayer and giving me eternal life. I pray this prayer in Jesus name amen.

They reveal that there is only one true religion and the rest is false, and that there is the right and all else is wrong. All the way through the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus contrasted the true religion of Christ with the false Judaism of the scribes and Pharisees and their followers. He offered not a lot of choices, only two. The gospel saves; anything and everything else condemns."First of all, there is no religion that can give us salvation. Jesus never came in this world to establish any religion. But He came to save us from our sins. He did all the works for our salvation on the cruel cross so that we could get forgiveness of our sins. This salvation is not for a particular group of people but for all men and women of all ages. Today, our sins can be forgiven by just coming at the feet of Jesus. His message is not in any way complicated, it will not take hard work, it is not about some theories which we may not understand but it is very simple. Only thing is that we need to humble ourselves and fall at the feet of Jesus. When we do that we will already be entering through the narrow gate because Jesus said in John 10:9-10 that, "I am the door. if anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."So, as soon as a person accepts Jesus as his/her Lord and Savior, that person is saved. But sometimes religious leaders like John MacArthur make this simple truth so much complicated that it becomes unreachable for the common people to accept Jesus. But my friend, if you come at the feet of Jesus and accept Him as your Lord and Savior, you will be saved. The second thing is that Judaism is not false just because some scribes and Pharisees were bad. Jesus is the same God of the Bible or Yahweh God who came down in the form of a man to save us. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 5:17-18, "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled." So calling Judaism a false religion is not correct at all. Further John MacArthur says in page 78 under title "Divine Verses Human Righteousness" that, "There is common misconception that the choice between Christ and false gods is the choice between desiring to go to hell and desiring to go to heaven. I've heard preachers say the narrow way is the way of Christianity that people choose when they want to go to heaven, and the broad way is the way people choose who are content to go to hell. But they are misinformed or confused. It is not a contrast between godliness and Christianity on one hand and irreligious lewd, lascivious pagan masses headed merrily for hell on the other. It is a contrast between two kinds of religions, both roads marked, "This way to heaven." Satan doesn't put up a sign that says, "Hell--Exit Here." That's not his style. People on the broad road think that road goes to heaven."I am not sure what MacArthus is trying to say in the above paragraph while Jesus clearly said in Matthew 7:13-14, "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." Jesus made it clear that there are two ways one goes to heaven and one goes to hell. Those who are not entering through Jesus will go to hell as I discussed a little earlier. It is important to enter through Jesus because Jesus is the only way to heaven. When a person accepts Jesus as his/her Lord and Savior that person enters in this narrow gate that leads to heaven. Now that person has to leave his bad habits and addictions behind and he needs to start walking in holiness with Jesus. If that person stays in holiness and walks with Jesus not wavering from his faith, he will go to heaven. This narrow way does not speak about any physical torture of our body but a holy and clean walk with Jesus. Just as Paul said in Romans 12:1-2, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."But John MacArthur has entirely misunderstood the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Unless a person repents and turns to Jesus, there is no way he/she could go to heaven. So please come to Jesus and invite Him in your heart and He will gladly forgive and forget all your sins.

As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month.
